Good luck with treating the diseases. I watched a previous video about your calf operation. It was really interesting and informative.

Thank you for sharing, I had no idea how difficult it is to take care of a dairy. I hope the calves bugs clear up quickly. ❤️ from Australia 🦘

As a former dairyman, NOTHING worse than dying animals, for sure calves(whether in birthing or infancy), but also older animals too. Good luck with that current bug!

Very informative video. I was a dairy farmer I didn’t know or think about lighting for colophon for calf’s. I use to keep my lights on in my barn 24/7 for some reason My brain told me so . Getting the cows to eat and drinking more water. Calves are hard to raise. U must have taken a vet classes? TY for sharing your very stressful day. Take care young man ❤

Surprised you don't use lime after removing bedding. Hope you get your calves back to health. Thanks for sharing.

Good video. I feel for you. I went through that with my beef herd. Not on the scale as you. You’re right though on day 3 or so quit nursing, running a temperature and if you grabbed the calf it smelled like sour milk as the digestion didn’t take place. Treated them with bovi-seri inject 20 cc and exceede antibiotics along with 10 cc ACD with epi. 3 day process with bovi-seri and ACD. Feel for ya. Glad you guys got the problem identified. Good luck. Thanks for the video

What is your success rate with rolling and stitching a cow with a DA

Probably 80 percent. It helps to catch them early

You really don't like to have to pay the vet do you? Why do so many of your cattle have horns?
@Wepner_Farms_Productions7 сағат бұрын
We had a poor dehorning program because of how we did it. I assure you you will see little to no horns in a year or two haha
