I once threw a pillow at my husband when l heard him snoring away during the new born struggle night days 😂 he had been at work all day and came home to make dinner and clean up, but still!!! I couldn't help be resentful he was getting sleep. It happens. Communication is key and being open and honest helps. Thank you for being honest and vulnerable

Very timely video as Hubby and I are in the newborn season too. The sleep deprivation can definitely intensify unhelpful thoughts. Great tips for how to work together as a team in the season. I will look into the EASY method for my newborn too

Whew this video is so real. Parenting but especially the newborn season can put a heavy strain on the marriage. I remember feeling that resentment being up breastfeeding whilst hubby snored away 🤣. A lot of talking and adjusting with prayer helped and it got better.

I love these videos, children are years off for me but I love watching these to prepare myself for the reality as I tend to romanticise these stages in life ❤

This is so real! Also the idea of holding your tongue I agree with 💯 Your partner wouldn’t forget a hurtful word but you are likely to forget that you were even thinking it

I love you fam, such a beautiful couple. Please if I may I ask, how do you feel about having a helper? Even if it's not a stay in helper, just someone who can help once or twice a week to ease the load.

@@GabesandAnnaTHIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 No one is saying the spouse is not doing anything but that newborn stage when you’re not sleeping and the main source of food for your baby; it’s hard not to resent them when they get to sleep 6-8 hrs meanwhile you can’t even get 3hrs sleep straight.
