Thank you for showing gymnasts from countries that aren't gymnastic powerhouses. Just because they're not medal contenders doesn't mean they don't deserve to have their Olympic moment shown. They've worked hard and have made it to the Games. They can be just as inspiring as those who are there to medal.

Her dance sections were way way better than the rest. But I expect that from a country that is big into dancing. Her skills werent anything to notice and she needs to spend a few months cleaning up the landings and adding strength training. But do remember this is about the best of each country showing off. And consider India has a big culture block on girls doing gymnastics and suddenly you realize this is a wonderful performance. And this is only the beginning. Be patient. Better trainers and support will follow.

Yes, I don't think alot of these gymnasts from India have proper coaching, equipment or choreographers like we have here in the USA or like you see in Russia and alot of the other European nations. She did great with what she has had to work with though.

Indian dancing styles that we acquire culturally doesn't really translate well to gymnatics, unlike the techinques of ballet or western style of contemporary dancing. A very significant example of that is the turns. In Indian dance forms like Kathak, we turn on the heel of the foot while turns are made on the ball of foot in most western style of dances.
