I’m 62 years old and still love the oldie but goodies all the bands that played here today are nothing but the best love them all. There will never be any singers as good as the ones that played here today. 😊

They're still standing, thank god. Most of these artists have to sit down and sing. And you can tell they still enjoy being on stage. A lot of these legacy act play overseas a LOT.

They still sound good. Classy and good music. They don’t make music like this anymore. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and there will never be an era that produces the quality music that we had in those days. Wish we could wave a magic wand and go back to those days. I miss them.

Amen! I'd been going back and forth on several older videos of Mr. Henderson not being able to fill the shoes of that lead with this Bo fan and The Stylistics finally woke up. Now Arrion needs to retire because he's been off for 10 years.

Unfortunately, there’s 2 stylistics groups . This one is good with Aaron Love. Russell Thompson jr is in the other Stylistics group and is still the best lead falsetto.

Bo couldn't handle that type of falsetto lead, he needed to go.

@@MakerNoMoney Totally agreed his vocals not within Eban and Russell style. A good singer for sure not a falsetto.

I think Ebanks brown was the best lead singer the stylistics ever had bo Henderson was a good singer he just was ,nt a falsetto . That looks like him in the backgrown.
@georgeoshust7933 ай бұрын
The original lead singer is not there. They are not the same without him.

You are 30 years late with that statement and it's not true, sir.

Very true but Aaron Love is still there. Russell Thompson Jr is the best.
@DJ2Legit0073 ай бұрын
So glad they got rid of Eban Brown. This guy Jason sounds MUCH better! Eban sang too hard. Jason is much smoother and sings more like Russell.
@MakerNoMoney3 ай бұрын
I have to disagree with you, sir. Eban was a 20+ year blessing with The Stylistics by bringing better moves and a higher range than Russell. He was not fired, he moved on to a solo career that's not doing well as far as I can see. Bo Henderson was the terrible fit for these gentlemen and Jason had to take many of the leads after they'd realized Bo couldn't handle the leads.
@DJ2Legit0073 ай бұрын
@MakerNoMoney It's fine that you disagree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It is my opinion that Jason sounds more like Russell than Eban did and that's what I personally prefer to hear. I grew up with these songs and I want to hear Russell sing them or the person who sounds the closest to Russell. I liked Eban in the beginning but felt he started straying away from singing like the LEGENDARY Russell Thompkins as the years went by.
@MakerNoMoney3 ай бұрын
@@DJ2Legit007, I've seen both groups 3-4 times and Russell earlier this year. I was finished supporting them after they'd hired Bo Henderson and Arrion Love continues to have singing problems, but since Jason is singing the leads now, I'd consider seeing them. BTW, have you seen any of Mr. Thompkins' shows in the last few years?
@Kemet3.03 ай бұрын
@@MakerNoMoney CORRECT!!
@Kemet3.03 ай бұрын
@@DJ2Legit007 WRONG , I HAVE TO AGREE W/MakerNoMoney . "I had no idea Jason could sing like this when he was behind Eban. So, all this time while Jason was part of the team, he had the same tenor as Eban and Russell." "Eban was amazing; with my eyes closed, I couldn't tell the difference." Russell or him.
