In 1973, my mom, aunts, and their friends were going to see Al Green. Someone couldn't go so I was given the ticket. Now Al Green wasn't my thing being a teenage boy. Al Green was "ok" to me lol. Well, Al Green put on a show I have never forgotten! He absolutely killed it! I was shocked! Also, I had never seen women react like they did. Some of them were actually crying! When he tossed roses at the show's end, I saw a woman go airborne for one!
