With respect, I'm calling "bullshit" on that one - using a pick is still a valid way of playing bass, it just gives a different sound - it's a more aggressive sound, with a different attack that you just can't get from playing with your fingers. It suits the music pretty well. Ideally, a bassist should be good at both styles of playing. It doesn't make the bass sound like a guitar, it makes it sound like a bass being played with a pick. If she's a good bass player (which she is) why do you care?

Wow! I love this track, I've Been a massive fan of the Subways for years and seen them play in Europe and uk in small venues like (Reading & London uni) and massive stadiums like (wembley stadium/Glastonbury) and by far the Subways are one of the best festival bands to watch live!!!
