It was fun for over 10 years but I can no longer afford to spend the time to make these videos without being reimbursed by KZbin. I have started a second channel that focuses on Diablo 4 and I am thinking of starting another separate Game Lore channel very soon.

You aren't lazy about it, so we get to see the full story. I been subscribed since you made the Starcraft movie. Keep up the awesome work. This game brings back memories and needs a next gen sequel. Not enough good horror games recently. This one came out during a horror game golden age.

The problem with remakes is that the game companies won’t make them unless they can incorporate a multiplayer aspect so they make more money. This era of PS2 games, just before the multiplayer boom were some of the last of the great single player stories in games. Notable mentions since are L.A. Noir and maybe GTA V. And again no remake of L.A. Noir because apparently the producer was a dick to his employees. But I wish they’d remake that too.

Wish this was on Xcloud I have it on original Xbox but it doesn't play on 360 which is a shame it's one of the best games of that era, I remember the month it came out what a month because Mercenaries 1 and Need for Speed Underground 2 came out just within a few months it was awesome Needs a remake/remaster the storyline and enemies were seriously creative

+Tyrenter Highfury - It wasn't exactly 'scary'. Even when it was out the game was marketed as an action/horror hybrid - not 'survival horror', but the aesthetics and story of a survival horror with action gameplay. So it wasn't like Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 that were marketed as survival horror but were non-stop action games in every respect. The Suffering did a much better job of fusing the gameplay style of action with the aesthetics of horror. What the game _was_ meant to do was disturb and disgust, which it succeeded in - and the sequel took this to a whole other level (only game I know of that actually lets you shoot a baby, with exploding gore animation and, believe it or not, a screaming, crying mother next to it...)

+Maddy Corrasa - There's a similar premise to them in that the 'Malefactors' as they're called are symbolic of some great act of suffering or violence, but unlike Silent Hill they're not projections of the protagonist's subconscious. They appear the same to everyone. They're also a lot more on the gorey, visceral side, too.

You play a man named Torgue who has been sentenced to death row for murdering his family, but the story will end differently depending on whether you decide to be good, evil or neutral. Being good is way harder than evil or neutral. The things you hear characters say will be different depending on your morality. Also, the different creatures in the game are based off of various forms of death row executions, which makes this game more grounded for its horror elements.

Will Find that out on the second game " Ties that Bind" a man named Blackmore from Baltimore on the second suffering game killed your family because you used to sell drugs for him but you owed him a debt so instead of killing you he killed your family and framed you as well you learn this in the beginning of the second game as a short flash back and then you continue the story leading up after this one you escape the island in one piece but the demons who want your soul for commiting sins for selling drugs follow you to your home town & the gritty mean streets of baltimore.

To say it's a wannabe Silent Hill is like saying any game that's remotely horror with monsters is simply ripping off Silent Hill, which is retarded. Apart from some _very_ vague similarities in _some_ of the monsters' appearances, the two games have literally nothing in common.

+Suga Daddy - Also, unlike Silent Hill, it's not a story where the protagonist turns out to be guilty of some great sin he/she repressed. Although the synopsis makes it sound like that, it isn't. There's three different endings based on player actions - bad ending = Torque is and always was guilty of murdering his family, good ending = Torque was framed by a local gangster and neutral ending = Torque accidentally killed his wife in a fight and son killed his other son and then himself. It's not like Silent Hill where the protagonist has repressed the memory and the town is making him remember. The monsters aren't symbolic of Torque's psyche or anything like that.
