@@p.k.k.9655I think we have to take in account that most of these girls commenting and chanting team Cole are teenagers who don’t have a clue about love. Most think love is just a feeling. I can guarantee that the majority of them saw Cole and instantly caught feelings for him and he could do no wrong. But it’s sad because the root of bad behaviors and immoral attitudes start at the teenage years. What’s shocking is that writers would put in things like cheating, betrayal to your brother, sleeping with multiple partners just for plot but do very little to explain the consequences of those things. I can tell you first hand that many have died, been killed, gotten std’s from those acts. So I’m highly disappointed at this she for glossing over these issues as if there’s no consequences

Because she’s loves him. As I’ve grown older I’ve realised that people will love who they love. To the point where their ex partner can be the worst person alive - meanwhile you’re sweet, caring, thoughtful, loving etc. - and they’ll still go back to them each time. She simply loves Cole and there’s nothing Alex can do about it. Alex can turn out to be this amazing family man with a six figure job and she’ll still want to live paycheck to paycheck with Cole. I’ve put certain women on a pedestal and those relationships didn’t work out. I’ve had other women who I didn’t take seriously who fell head over heels. It’s weird how that works but that’s life. The moment Jackie laid her eyes on Cole she was in love. It was just a matter of his personality matching his exterior. Otherwise, she fell for Alex as a consolation prize. Alex was the rebound and Jackie projected her feelings towards him to his feelings for Paige. The moment Cole stepped up was the moment it was over for Alex.

10000000% AGREE. I love the story, the location, and all the supporting characters but LORD HAVE FREAKING MERCY do hate the main trio's relationship. I honestly thought after Jackie lost her family she would've turned from miss perfect like she was in the beginning of episode 1 into a depressed teenager making bad decisions over and over again pushing her uncle and mom's best friend family away but instead she stayed true to herself until the last episode, I knew if she found the teapot she would kiss Cole but I didn't want it to happen at all cause a. she's with Alex and b. she knew the drama with Cole, Paige and Alex, so with that knowledge to go and kiss Cole like that was very cruel and then she runs away instead of facing her problems. I hope in S2 we get maybe flashbacks of Jackie with her family and they focus more on that and her getting closure and less on her relationship with the brothers.

Girls you 2 need to read the book. Cole is a gentleman, truly is. Everything Alex does during the series( watching the sunset with jackie, playing in the barn, etc) in the book is Cole the one doing it. In the series is almost impossible to like him, cause his an ashole, but in the books is a totally different cenario. And mainly, it's more interesting than the series, taking the romance out of scene. . . . . ps: i'm sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language

He was with her for almost 7 months. I just it wasn’t timely and he had been drinking. He got in his emotions and probably felt a little threatened by Cole still. So he did force it. He definitely should’ve read her better to see if she was reciprocating how he felt. But he’s only 16 and still had a lot of maturing to do. It’s the second heartbreak that’s gonna be tough to watch next season. If your not on Alex side and watch him go through that, your literally heartless and don’t know what it feels like to be in love

No one is perfect Jacky liked Cole from the beginning but he was a womanizer and a jerk so she had to tuck her feelings away and she went for the good guy, if Cole wasn’t an asshole she would of definitely gotten with him from the beginning. In the end she gave in and went for the bad boy and was to ashamed to stay. She knew this was messed up after what happened between Cole and Alex in the past. Let’s all be real if this show gets other seasons it’s Cole and Jacky. They are the main characters here

It is more about Cole than anyone else. I feel like he ended up being the more complex character & the one who actually had some character development. What I found interesting was that they took his sweet moments from the book & gave them to Alex. IMO bc Alex is the less interesting character. I don’t dislike Alex but I do think his insecurity shaded everything he did. It’s clear he wasn’t over his feelings for Paige & while he liked her, he was at least in part using Jackie to prove a point & spite Cole. Cole’s response to Paige kissing him wasn’t done to hurt Alex but Alex being heavy on the PDA was absolutely done to hurt Cole. Alex has some growing to do and when he does he’ll realize he’s focused on the wrong ppl & the right girl for him is Kiley. I think the “I love you” from Alex made it clear to Jackie she had been lying to herself. Then finding out Cole remembered something meaningful her mom told her and he took the time to repair her sisters teapot was the push she needed to stop avoiding her feelings. Cole belongs with Jackie and I actually don’t think it’s a case of her fixing him. I think it’s more she inspired him to be/do better. I also their dynamic was more interesting bc they actually opened up to each other & had meaningful conversations and he pushed her out of her comfort zone.
