I always imagine the Lords being disappointed they didn't get to watch someone put a bullet in the person they love's skull, but cheering up significantly upon realizing they got a disciple out of it instead.

I like to think they treat Grace a bit like a pet. She does what they tell her to, they give her nice things in return and let her murder people for them. The lords in black actually follow through on their promises, unlike god, so Grace is happy.

Things about this animatic that absolutely rule: - The sheer chaos of the Lords' dancing really makes the viewer feel like theyre surrounded, and the different mid-motion dance poses of the Lords vibing are so energetic. - Wiggly being so careless and physically abusive with Stephanie, like a child playing rough with a toy. - Pokey being callous and uncaring is always the vibe, but in the "when we can help the world" shot, where his hand is the only one reaching to grasp the entire world, the way he's always trying to take over? Genius. - Tinky always seeming too close for comfort like he's about to burst through the screen is so good, and the shot where you are suddenly IN the Bastard's Box is WILD! - Blinkey never really looks directly into the POV, but is ALWAYS watching, and feels so much more uncanny than the other Lords, like he's only half-contained in his Avatar (evident by the moon eye and the little visual effects) - Nibbly constantly failing to maintain his human shape as his hunger grows is iconic (girlypop brother fan club all the way) - They feel like mad fey trickster Gods, the way they SHOULD feel! I love all their energy in this. Thank you for your hard work and amazing art!

Fun fact! I was actually originally gonna zoom in onto the gun in her pocket, but as I was drawing her I realized I didn't know what to do with her hand! So I defaulted to what I do when trying to seem charming, and did finger guns, and then thought 'hey you know what would be fucked up?' And ran with it

I have so many favourite things about this but here’s a few: • Pokey’s mask coming off and there just being nothing behind it? INSPIRED choice • THE GUN SHOWING UP IN STEPH’S HAND AT ‘we’ll give you whatever you want’ ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? • Steph getting dragged away by Wiggly aghhh • ‘Kill your mother’ DUDE NO YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME • The three of them group-hugging ohmygOD • Steph’s flashbacks of Pete and her blushing is sooo good, you somehow made it adorable and chilling at the same time (‘he asked for NO PICKLES’ agshagd) • Them specifically taunting Steph the whole time is SUCH a good choice Overall fantastic job! Oh my gosh I LOVE how scary the lords in black are! Making them so much more close and physical with the three makes them much more intimidating, and Wiggly just ragdolling Steph is amazing. Love the detail with Blinky and the bubbles and how much body horror you put in for them, the bright colors make it so off putting. Also how DARE you show Ruth and Richie I actually gasped

Oh my god, the dedication put into this is so amazing. I love the sheer amount of motion and detail you put into every single frame. The uncanniness and inhuman aspects of the Lords in Black were so cool to see since most of the animatics I've seen put them more as human projecting than eldritch horror mocking their human forms in the way they move and act. Also the poses? Absolutely on point. One of my utmost favorite animatics covering this song. Outstanding work.
