I'm going to have to read this book again because I'm listening to you and I don't see how this book wasn't insta-love. I started reading this book slowly after I saw how much Daniel didn't just admire Natasha but envisioned a future with her when he doesn't even know what he wants in life. And it felt very much like he was forcing these emotions on her, but luckily it was easy to tell that he was a good guy since he saved her from getting hit by a car. But even with all the drama and circumstances, Daniels poetic heart, and Natasha's desperation, they shouldn't have been so in love so quickly. I would have liked it if the relationship was more of a flirtatious fling than a instant commitment to each other.
@kasishagarwalla19376 жыл бұрын
I felt it was insta love. And also the fact that Natasha who doesn’t believe love or fate or anything other than science, by the end of the day was so convinced. Like I know it felt like a longer period than a day, but Natasha’s sudden change kind of didn’t set right with me. This book had diversity, and other things that different and great but the insta love and Natasha’s sudden change kind of kept it from being a highly loved book for me.

I just finished this book and I echo all your sentiments! I kept exclaiming out loud reading this, when the author would write something that would smack me right in the feels. I'm not even a huge YA reader, but I will definitely follow this author's work. I read her first one as well and I just love this one so much more.

ahhhhhh I just finished this book and I loved it SO much!!! :) I totally agree about the relationship not really being instalove. I think that's beyond oversimplifying what happens in this book. So good :) One of my favorites so far this year!

You know how, when you really connect to a person, you say that you feel as if you've known them forever? This book made me feel that. It was just one day but it felt as if Daniel and Natasha had known each other forever ♥

I really love this book, I just read it last month! I absolutely agree that the way this book is written and the way all the concepts are presented was just so so great. I thought the concept of all the "minor characters" having a voice in the book was just superb. No one is no one in this book and that makes me love it even more. :)

I wish YA book reviews would list ages and who it might resonate with for adults buying books for kids. I'm getting free books from Kelloggs Feeding Reading program and this is one offered. Opening my house to foster kids 11-18. I worry that the message is answer your woes by finding someone to marry. Understood - you can't give away the plot - but is it recommended for kids recovering from trauma?
