He is not a king. Don't call your self alayeluwa, you were never installed as a Yoruba king. You are baale of Lagos island . Lagos island is one local government out of 20LGA in Lagos. I do not know how people mix things up. The real Lagos kings are Oba Akran and Olu of Ikeja that's the real Lagos then Lagos extension is Epe and Ikorodu.

I can't understand all these keyboard warriors who seat behind a computer screen and utter sheer rubbish... So because Lagos Island is one out many local govts in Lagos, it means the oba of lagos isn't the main Oba of lagos. How dumb is that? Is ile-ife not just a local govt in Osun state, in oyo state, dont you have the alaafin and olu ibadan in the same oyo state, does that now mean they are equals? Also consider the modern eras, the seat of power is abuja and there are 36 other states, the seat of power is where the prime leader resides (in modern era, the president). Saying Oba Akran owns lagos is as ignorant as it comes. (Ikeja means IKorodu and Epe Joint Administration), it is just the politcal seat of power, where do you put the aworis if you claim Oba Akran is the real oba of lagos. Please, lets be enlightened and not re-write history.

Olu of Ikeja is a political King appointed and elevated by Political Governor of Lagos. Ikeja is not a town non a community I'm Yoruba history. There is no word like Ikeja in Yoruba language and it's doesn't mean anything in Yoruba word. Ikeja is Ikorodu and Epe Joint Administration, so I don't under Olu of a political and public office.

Let me educate you, the word Yoruba came out of the name called Oyo by Fulani jihadists and doesn’t mean anything? You have Awori, Ijebu, Ijeshas, Egbas, Ondos , Owos etc. It was late Awolowo that brought all these different tribes under one tribe-Yorubas. He is Oba of Lagos (Eko) and the only Oba in Lagos. All others are Balees. The modern narrative by you young people doesn’t hold water and nothing can change that. Thanks 🙏
