I understand the Oba's stance on the use of our materials for western clothes and its great advantages. How ever the beauty of Yoruba culture is it adherence to tradition. In my humble opinion a Yoruba king should not wear western clothes on the throne. I do no even believe as king he should wear western clothes, it is perhaps a sacrifice one has to make to set an example to his people. Really it is not much of a sacrifice in Yoruba land, where their beautiful clothes can compete with any clothing styles around the globe!!!!
