Our 30 minute Catholic Mass today is broadcast from the Basilica’s Crypt Church and is celebrated by priests from the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington, featuring sacred liturgical music with a Cantor & Organist from the Choir of The Basilica. The Christmas Mass and the Easter Mass are special one-hour broadcasts celebrated annually by the bishops of the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington.
Our mission is to bring the blessings of Jesus Christ’s presence and love, through The Sunday TV Mass, to the sick and those unable to leave their homes. This was the worst mass service I have watched on this station. The adds cut out the video every 7 minutes and actually cut out parts of the mass, including the eucharist! How are we to be a part of the mass with ads? Very disappointed the church has chosen to monitize the mass service.

It has come to my attention that you have been placing ads on church service videos without the explicit consent or request of the churches themselves. This practice is not only unethical but also deeply disrespectful to religious communities around the world. Church services are sacred gatherings where individuals come together to worship, find solace, and connect with their faith. They are not commodities to be exploited for profit. By monetizing these services without authorization, you are not only disregarding the spiritual significance of these events but also infringing upon the rights of religious organizations to control their own content. Furthermore, the placement of ads on church service videos can be incredibly disruptive and disrespectful to viewers. I urge you to immediately cease the monetization of church service videos without explicit consent from the respective religious organizations. Furthermore, I demand transparency regarding your advertising policies and practices, including how revenue generated from these ads is allocated. Failure to address this issue in a timely and satisfactory manner will only serve to further damage your reputation and credibility. As users and consumers, we deserve better from a platform that plays such a significant role in shaping our digital experiences."
