I've returned to this band from the early to late 90's...........in order to help me heal the definite case of PTSD I now have from our having lived near Santa Flush (Fe) New Mexico where my family and I were constantly verbally accosted by idiot masked democrat sheep for 10 months straight - up until the time early this past January when we performed an emergency EVAC back to Texas - where we've experienced NO verbal abuse by others. We will never wear masks or get v@xxed. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION. YES. ALL TRUE. NM sucks ass. So do all the masked sheep out there. Stop complying with tyranny y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For real though. QUIT. WAKE UP. So to your OG point above - I agree that The Sundays can help greatly, as all good music can, when we are in need of overcoming anything. Just to note - until we returned to Texas.....I had not been in a grocery store since.........[wait for it]........JUNE 2020. More than 6 months - almost 7 months for me. And THEN we were completely refused entry to all grocery stores in NM during late October, early November of 2020. If you'd have witnessed parents putting masks on their children during any year prior, you'd have called CPS on them in less than 5 seconds and been screaming "child abuse"..........but by the end of 2020 all of you sheep had accepted the lies of the cabal and you've been reprogrammed to accept an even greater false reality. If any of you really love The Sundays - you will see that the reason you love them is because of the FREEDOM their music inherently expresses - whether it is sober or uplifting.....it does not matter. And you think about that......you think about that real hard now............because the rarity of The Sundays as artists handing the rest of us their gift of a musical expression hardly touched by any other....THAT.... is NOTHING....I mean....NOTHING............in comparison to your FREEDOM to choose for yourself what you will do or not do in Life. And once you let it go........you'll be praying you hadn't. STAND UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Edited August 31st, 2021 in Jackson, WY)

@@christopherlaskoski189 So interesting to hear your totally rational and well reasoned thoughts on all this....
@christopherlaskoski189

@@Alistair_Spence Forgive me - such a short reply is unfortunately here taken as condescending, especially when a word such as "interesting" adorns an unfinished sentence. In architecture, if any of us use the word "interesting" in our comment on another's project - that means it sucks ass and then some. And the word "rational" (like "hope" or "wish" which both place the burden of responsibility for self beyond the self) is suspect, but most people are not aware.

Wow what a time warp for me! I saw them on this tour when I was in 10th grade here in the US. They performed at the Roxy in Hollywood and I remember Drew Barrymore was part of the audience. I still have my signed ticket stub from all four band members.

Similar experience. Heard a snippet here and there over last 2 years, then I decided to buy what I could find. Now I'm in love. Slightly annoyed I missed them first time around.... All those years I could've been enjoying them. I play them lots and lots to make up for all the missed time. Beautiful music, love Harriett's vocals and the band are just the best. Thankfully I found them at last. Thank you so much for this. 🙏❤

Thanks for posting this. In 1990 I was a student at Nottingham University and went to see them live in Nottingham on the same tour. The only problem was that Harriet had a sore throat and they had to stop the gig after 3 songs. So I never got to hear the whole set. But it would have been this :)

It sucks that they didn't sing "You're Not The Only One I Know" here. That's their closest most beautiful song to the hit "Here's Where The Story Ends". If they only release that song as a single, it would've been successful too.
