The Sunflower Effect taking over Maroondah

Today is World Kindness Day (13 November 2020) - a time to reflect on ways we can actually make kindness the norm.
So today we profile local resident, Rebecca, who inspired our Sunflower Effect project.
"I want to encourage you, whoever you are, to go plant that seed of hope into someone else’s life. And it might be by giving them a packet of sunflowers, but it might just be by sharing a kind word..."
Be a sunflower in someone’s day - join the Sunflower Effect project and help us spread hope and brightness into the streets of Maroondah!
Your packet of sunflower seeds can be collected from one of our Maroondah Community Houses (due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we recommend you check the opening hours of your local Community House before dropping in) and from our Realm service centre.
If you cannot get to a community house, please call our Be Kind Maroondah Facilitator on 9294 5737 or email [e-mail] and we can arrange delivery.
You can also collect packets of sunflower seeds for your neighbours and drop them into their letterboxes.
Seeds are available for collection until the end of November.
