THE SUNNI VS SHIA DEBATE

Some guys came in during this debate trying to attack the Shia and we stepped in to prevent this from happening. The guys that came in were two local black men who had seen that it was a Shia and Sunni debate and wanted to attack the Shia. The Shia debaters inappropriately attributed the blame to an Iranian convert to Sunnism. They accused him of being associated with the likes of Anjem Choudhary. I can confirm that these converts are not associated with Choudhury at all and have nothing but resentment for him.

story of Ahmed ibn hambal: there was a meeting between Sunni and shia. All the scholars of shia attended, however only one Sunni scholar attended. the Sunni scholar walked in late with his sandals under his armpits. the scholar of the shia looked at him and said :"why have you entered holding your sandal" . The Sunni scholar replied: " i heard the shia in the prophets time used to steal sandals" so the shia scholars looked at each other confused and replied: "THERE WAS NO SHIA IN THE PROPHETS TIME". the Sunni scholar then replied : " This ends our discussion" Moral of the story : THERE WAS NO SHIA WHILST THE PROPHET WAS ALIVE.

Born and raised in a religious Shi'i Muslim family, to be honest Muhammad Hijab is a great person and has an amount of patience. The point here is that "my" beliefs are almost the same as my Sunni brothers. Although this debate was great, I don't agree with some points that the Shia brother makes and even agree more with Hijab. Again this is "my" point of view!

1:04:00 The argument by the shia man regarding Ali naming his sons Abu Bakr and Umar was ridiculous. Abu Bakr is a kunya and both names were not that common. Thus, it cannot be a coincidence that Ali named them that due to the infrequent nature of these names. Also if Ali truly cursed Umar and Abu Bakr, he would have despised these names to the point of not even thinking about them. It makes no sense whatsoever. And by him comparing it to Hasan naming his son Abdur Rahman (killer of Ali ibn Abi Talib) he doesnt realize that the name in itself withholds a beautiful meaning. Its quite embaressing for him to make such an argument. Having a slave of Ar Rahman as a name is honorable and holds no comparison to the names of Abu Bakr and Umar. May Allah swt be pleased with them all.

Humans are not perfect but if this man met Aisha he would be embarrassed and shamed. Brother Muhammad Hijab has done an excellent job highlighting the critical flaws of the Shia beliefs. Moreover, the flaws were made apparent by the Shia scholar avoiding key questions to the Shia faith. From a neutral perspective it looked like the Shia scholar was purposefully avoiding questions as he did not want the Shia faith to be exposed. key point is "Bring your evidences from the Qur'an and Sunnah".

I honestly dont know why the rafidi even turned up, terrible understanding, terrible orator, terrible debater. The Rafidi got absolute schooled on every point, simple way to analyse the "debate" is see Muhammad hijab directly answer and ask direct questions throughout the debate, compare that with the rafidi who just sits and deflects as much as he can without actually answering anything. Raafida Rely on sunni chain and preservation of Quran Raafida have no Ilm ul Rijaal (science of men) Raadida have no record of Aasim(one of the main transmitters of Quran) Raafida believe running from battle expels one from islam(and they call us takfiris) Raafida believe most sahaba apostated minus a dozen or so(again who are the takfiris?). Ali(ra) love Abu bakr(ra) and Umar(ra) so much he named his children after them. Quran is known as the book of Uthman(ra) The Rafidi 'Debater' doesn't know basic Quranic Arabic rules on huroof etc. The Rafidi "Debaters" primary source of proof is a Mosque Imam in London. Allah(swt) confirms the Imaan of he sahaba unequivocally in the quran. Raafida disagree on how many Imaams there are 12, 7, 13 etc. Jafar Sadiq said the companions of the prophet(saw) were on the Haq(Truth). Authentic Hadith from Qomi confirms 12,000 Sahaba. Rafidah believe Imaams are equal to or higher than the Prophet(saw)

With all the clear evidence from Quran, they can't even prove Imamah from Quran which is Usool Ul Deen to Shias (Aka followers of Ibn Saba). They have the concept of Imamah from " twelve Tribes of Israel" this is same concept Ibn Saba played on which later developed into twelwer Shia. This is important messages to Shias who wanna seek truth. Not even Jews or Christians in modern area would insult prophets wife or companions, just know that these ppl have no hayah for their mothers or sister at home, and that their punishment on this earth. You said that you don't consider the mass populace of shi'a to be kuffaar (today), that is a huge and dangerous mistake. Generally the masses of the shi'a today, regardless of sect, call upon other than Allah, and the very best of them that you may find (if you really search) don't call upon other than Allah yet they see it as halal or do not make takfir on those who do. Takfeer of the mushrikeen is an essential part of the shahada. Also, what one may understand when you say the masses are Muslim is that you make takfir upon their scholars; what evidence do you use to make that distinction? There is no excuse of ignorance in asl ad-din, and even if there was, their scholars are ignorant according to the sharee'ah anyway.
