It would almost seem since the yellowbelly and asphalt look extremely similar to the wild type, they would be considered recessive. Especially since the super looks so dramatically different. Het pieds and clowns sometimes clowns and pieds have visual markers, seeming like they almost act like a very low expression incomplete dominant, but that seems to put yellowbelly and this gene in the same category. Look at how the red axanthic gene is labeled and it gets even more confusing...

I've seen some Angry Balls and Royal Ball Pythons, are these hybrids? On Angry Ball advert it says it requires less humidity and is tolerant to colder climates, they also seem to grow bigger and be very docile, is this true? Another great video, keep up the good work!

I think the Angry ball is a hybrid, the Royal Python is another name for Ball Python.

I saw an old post you made on a thread about ball pythons. It was from when you first started pairing snakes you were pairing two pythons with the spider gene did you go through with it?

My Spider Pied male did breed with my het caramel albino female, got a hand full of Spiders, almost no wobble on any of them, I got lucky. I also paired my Pastel Desert Ghost male with my Pastel Spider Desert Ghost female, but she didn't lay eggs last year. Trying the same pairing this year!

TOTALLY off subject, but I just acquired a 3500g. female bp. Her previous owner kept her in a 32qt. tub/rack. Seems small to me, but I'm no pro. What size tubs do you recommend for the big ones?

Hi again, on some of my ball pythons black scales I’ve noticed grey color on them, do you know what this could be? I took a short video and uploaded it. I saw it like when I got it but it was only one spot but it seems like it’s getting more now. It’s on the top of the snake only. Besides that everything seems fine with him. I have a ceramic heat bulb now helping with the temp but now I’m having a little trouble with the humidity, at night I’ll spray but when I wake up the humidity is at like 45, those ceramic heat lamps kill the humidity. I’m gonna try to tape this tin foil tape on the mesh and keep an area for the lamp.

You should use an IR Temp gun when he is under the heat lamp to make sure he doesn't get over 90F.

How long do you wait after feeding Bobby before you handle him?

Usually 24 hours, and I feed much smaller meals and gently handle him the day after feeding trying not to move him too much.

Supposedly I have a spider asphalt male and a spotnose pastel gravel but who knows and I've got to wait a long ng time to find out . I would love to get a super but big $$$ . Thinking of getting a highway or freeway so I'm sure I have the gene . Still $400-500 . Fifty fifty shot animals around $200 but the luck of the draw. Have other male and other females so not to mix spider and spotnose .
