Great info on the Super Gravel it is a awesome gene to work with and you are right don't see a bunch of people working with it but I did see a picture on Morph Market I think it was in Germany it was the Desert Ghost Bamboo and Chris let me tell you WOW what a stunner anyway thanks for stopping in and showing support on my channel you are one of the people that inspire me to try and do better on KZbin

I like the live streams, not many people do them and they show up on the top of my list for channels I'm subbed to. My Bamboo Calico is 50% het DG so I'm thinking I should breed him with my DG at some point to try to hit that Bamboo DG! 👍

@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures when i was looking for gravel and asphalt i didnt find any that said "for sure gravel " on them it was all / yb. I would have paid a little more is i did see one . So im supposed to have a spider asphalt male and a gravel pastel spotnose female but we will see . I dont hold out to much hope but i may get lucky. Im putting the spider to my ivory so i should know that one for sure . The female im not sure yet maybe to the clown lesser YB so i still have a chance to prove her out but not as good. Still waiting about a year and a half to go if they keep eating well.

Suma(super mahogany) is another one of those a lot like the super gravel. It’s got some pretty crazy combos as well! The suma doesn’t sell for as much as the super gravel(obviously depending on the combo), but there are some really nice combos! Not sure if you’ve done a video on sumas or not yet. It was worth mentioning at least. Lol.

If you crossed a freeway with a highway how would the gravel and asphalt combine?

You would actually get a 'pavement', check it out: www.morphmarket.com/us/c/reptiles/pythons/ball-pythons/116181 I probably wouldn't do it, it may be difficult to figure out which is which when comparing the super gravel, super asphalt, and gravel asphalt. I would think you could easily mix up the different lines...

Thanks for the link both are beautiful genes w YB or Super form. So I of course, wondered, if they’d combine like the super. gravel and asphalt. Would that give them their own complex or just mean they are allelic with one another? There’s certainly a distinct difference when you have 2 copies of either or one of each would love to hear more information on multiple allelic combos. Bet they are exceedingly rare.

Perkelelee asphalt makes freeways gravels makes highways. I have pastel ivory.

Hey Chris I got a question for ya. I actually just picked up my first adult female last night. She's 2000Gs. Previous guy said she locked with a super pastel banana het pied back in may but he hasn't had eggs. I'd like to breed my first clutch. She hasn't laid eggs in a year and a half. Would you recommend I leave her be for another month to see if she lays? Do I pair her up again with one of my adult males? HELP 😅😁

Also, she's in shed right now. Could be a prelay shed but who knows. She does look pretty hefty. What would you recommend

You can pair her up, you never know if she has eggs or not. I usually pair up in the middle of October for eggs in the spring and summer so I have hatchlings in late summer and fall. But you can pair up any time. They will even lock in a deep shed sometimes!

Sounds good, breeding a few on the side can help pay the bills for food and bedding. Some reptile stores will buy all your hatchlings at wholesale prices too, makes selling easier.
