I have an idea for a video. I was candling 2 of my clutches about a week away from their due date and looking carefully, I could actually see what the snake is through the shell. Saw that I possibly have a banana enchi spider and a couple spinners. Was pretty suprising. Maybe see if you can guess before they hatch.

Where are all the eggs at Chris!? Do you know how many clutches you had already hatched and how many you had incubating at this point last year? Why is this happening? Did you do anything different? Did you start pairing later or did you pair less than what you did in previous seasons? Have you tried to ultrasound your females lately? Are they building follicles and going thru ovulation? I was just wondering why you’re experiencing such a late season and wondering how your season will actually turn out

I actually paired up a few males that were only a year old, I'm pretty sure I paired them too young and the females didn't go. I think I only had four clutches so far, maybe a few more to lay eggs. I should have eggs hatching here in a few days!

I'm getting Banana pastel vanilla or Banana vanilla later this year :) Baby from Banana pewter x super vanilla pastel So actually possible I could get Banana super pastel vanilla and 2nd snake is from pairing pastel trick x leopard fire so I'm hoping some firefly trick leopard or pastel trick leopard female. Plans for future. Possibly :D

What age snake should I start out with since I've never owned one before? Should I get a baby? Or should I start with a full grown and maybe older, well loved, well tame and really used to being handled? I'd like your opinion Chris? What do you think would be the best way to go? That's awesome! Doesn't really matter on age, a new hatchling may be tricky to get started and they can be a bit nippy when they are just a few months old, other than that you should be fine.

Hi Bobby! Hi Chris! I've noticed on MM lately some of the adds have the snakes labeled 1.0, 2.0, etc on the ad listings what does this mean please? :)

1.0 means its 1 male and 0.1 means its 1 female. So when you see 1.1 it means a pair. Numbers on the left mean the quantity of males and numbers on the right mean quantity of females. Hope that makes sense lol 😅

Yes, the first number is for males, the second for females. So if someone is selling 3.2 that means they have three males and two females. It's secret snake keeper code LOL
