I'm amazed at how well made this video is! The motion graphics are phenomenal and the topic is well reseached and well presented. It is a CRIME that this video only has 766 views at the time of my viewing. I must say that I've become a huge fan of your channel. I've recently started my own channel. I wish I could make videos of this quality one day. Bravo sir! Bravo!!

I liked the video, great work! I cannot understand why you are advocating for the most corrupt organisations in the world. The revised super league may help in eliminating this monopoly by allowing more teams to participate.

@@saintmichael5253 What do you not understand. As soon as any PL club wants to join the Super League the UK government can by work permits, construction rights etc. make their existence a living nightmare. So no PL club will join the Super League and without the PL league clubs and without Germany they have only Italy and Spain and PSG - which will not draw an audience. Therefore the Super League will never happen. This has already happened this was the reason why in 2 days of the Super League announcement all the PL club pulled out.

It's funny when you say that "they need to balance interest of stakeholders between rich league and poor league, big team and small team".. The question is where is the balance ? How can small team compete with big team ? Remind me again what and where is the balance ? Btw, great video..

Good questions! What do you think?
@franskembaren4370 Жыл бұрын
In today's football the balance can only be found in number of players that can be played on the pitch. But we all know that football today is a "pay to win game" and it's the reality. We can only hope the miracle season like Licester or Lile happen more often.

I do not understand why the author places such an emphasis on the influence of teams such as Chelsea, Man City and Newcastle in the context of supporting the Super League (although Newcastle should not be there), and overlooks the fact that Real Madrid and Barcelona, leading this movement, are just the same community clubs that are concerned about the growth of club-states , and trying to protect themselves financially from competition with them, and UEFA's main ally against the Super League is PSG, the club of the Qatari sheikhs.

i have a question.. if fifa is democratic, so was Blatter election, so why we are complaining about the scandals and the problem highlited by World Cup in Russia and Qatar?
@TheMarketExit Жыл бұрын
I'm glad you're asking. You can be for democracy and at the same time believe that the elected leaders are scumbags. The beautiful thing with democracy (when it works) is that the electorate can vote against leaders who turn out to be scumbags. For example, after Bush's disastrous decision to invade Irak, American voters voted for a democratic president two elections in a row. FIFA's democracy is deeply flawed - and is plagued by devastating corruption. But even a flawed and corrupt democratic FIFA is better than abandoning the democratic system altogether. Let's keep pressuring FIFA to improve. For instance, you can get involved in the national football association of you home country. You can make sure that journalists in your country investigate how fair and democratic the election of your national representatives are.

I am more than in favor of the super league because the current system favors only some teams, as regards the distribution of money to the poorest leagues they will certainly give a percentage that is higher than that given by UEFA and FIFA, I also want to add that if the Super League starts, the only body to lose out would be UEFA, now
@Davide.B Жыл бұрын
Now I want to explain why the super league doesn't want to abandon the smaller teams, in the more drastic case where the super league teams I'm not being helped financially there would be a revolt that would boycott the same super league as happened in the past so I think the super league is the only way to improve football
@Davide.B Жыл бұрын
Now add in addition to the Super League there will be a Super League B AND a Super League C for the teams that are not high enough level to participate in the ESL all this will work via a ranking
@natoslayer2907 Жыл бұрын
I'm not a fan of FIFA or UEFA, but thanks to how poorly the initial Super League was planned and launched, FIFA and UEFA will be indefinitely viewed as the lesser evil by the vast majority of the football community. The Super League will have to wait until FIFA and UEFA have made their own egregious mistakes that threaten the sport to open the door to any Super League alternative that is proposed by the rich teams. Perception is everything.
@bereasonable8018 Жыл бұрын
I do not support any league that guarantees a permanent spot for any team. There should be a pyramid system with promotion/relegation applicable across the board for all, and it should all be governed by impartial persons/entities. Those greedy owners of the 12 larger clubs forgot that their clubs benefited from this system at one time and now want to stop anyone from growing through the system to challenge them. It is their own fault that they made bad financial decisions by overpaying players to the point that if they win no titles or cups then they go in debt. Allowing them to form a super league is the same as taxing the struggling people to support the lavish elite lifestyle of the owners.
@TheMarketExit Жыл бұрын
That's a great analogy. Unfortunately, our current economic system is to a large extent based on exploitation of the people who have little, in order to benefit those who already have a lot
@jeece71111 ай бұрын
I, for one, am a fervent partisan of this super league as long as we exclude all those teams from national and European competitions. They are part of this league and that's all. I don't support any (hate most) of those teams that would adhere to it and I would love to see all these billionaire teams fighting for just one trophy every year lol! This league would suck up so much money that it would certainly impoverish all the other leagues but not to the point of killing national championships and European Cups. Poorer but way more virtuous and competitives.

That's actually an interesting point and I haven't thought of it that way. Thank you!

@DMx483910 ай бұрын
Those who support this Super League are very shortsighted! They became the powers that they are because of, not despite, the current system. They forget that football is a global game and their revenues and talent depend on markets beyond their own. FIFA and UEFA (to a lesser extent) have a revenue sharing and governance model that is good for the global game. If those feeder markets can no longer supply eyes and talent because of the concentration of wealth by a small group, then football will be the loser. The game will then become one for the world’s rich and powerful only - and we’ve seen what unequal distribution of wealth has done to entire economies around the world.

We could worry about what you said if we didn't have a precedent - the English Premier League. The strongest teams rejected the regulation and rules of the dominant organization, and created their own, on their own terms, and as a result, the English league is now the most successful in Europe. And it is worth noting that some of the founding teams eventually dropped out of the top division, and other teams from the lower divisions, which systematically developed and became stronger, rose to their place and are still there. UEFA is obviously not doing a good job of maintaining the balance between the giants and the average teams, how many times have Everton been drafted, and how many times have Man City been drafted, and why is PSG their main ally against the Super League?
