It's kind of cool, because it looks like Illumination through the power of Nintendo is actually putting effort into something for once, visually it doesn't look soulless like most of their movies. You can tell Miyamoto helped injected some soul with his teams collaboration. Makes me happy as a 29 year old who watched the mario movie as a kid and was incredibly disappointed by it. Stoked to watch what looks like the super mario world game/mario 64 brought to the big screen

When we talk about perfect timing: this legendary enviroment is alive since half of '80, when most of all were kids, playing with it at NES. In a certain way this sounds growth with our childhood and today they are represeting it in a movie oriented to millenials: Bingo! Lucky parents like us will go to the cinema with our childs fully aware of time passing and smiling about that. Very well done, Nintendo!.
