Small quality of life thing. When you collect a moon from another kingdom, it should briefly show how many you have in that kingdom. Basically it would update the required moons as if you were in that kingdom and then revert back to the current kingdom

smant, if you’re somehow looking at the comments, i think there should be weighted captures so that certain relevant captures based on different kingdom/boss scenarios would be more likely to appear (e.g: higher chances of unlocking bowser upon reaching moon kingdom, or the wire capture upon reaching metro) would help to make the game less tedious. obviously wouldn’t make it a faithful randomizer experience, but i think it’s better to not have the run slow to a crawl for finding mushroom moons :D

I understand your reasoning, but also, if you're gonna try to ensure you get certain captures by the time you need them, that kinda defeats the purpose of randomizing them in the first place. Like, if you're guaranteed to unlock the Bowser capture before getting to moon, then it might as well not get locked to begin with. (Bowser is kinda a bad example since he's only in one place and required to beat the game, but I digress.) If implemented, it should definitely be optional.

I think it makes sense to add cap kingdom, moon kingdom, and cloud kingdom to the randomizer. They can be optional "difficulty decreasers" for the ability/capture unlockers. You can check them on or off so it changes how many moons might give you abilities

The fact that Cappy kept telling you how to do one of the abilities every time you travelled was so funny when you haven’t unlocked them. Can you imagine if that was the only way to umlock the abilities, was to have Cappy tell you about them? 😅

I have SO been looking forward to a randomizer video. Crafty is the boss of bosses. It's so funny that when their hard work is play tested, they come across as an airhead. 😂 Obviously they're brilliant, but I love watching them learn on the fly with us. 😊

For the ability unlocks, could you force those moons to always be in the shops? That way you have some guaranteed abilities in kingdoms where the shop isn’t a loading zone

The shops are not a gamble and realy help then! If you get a random shop you guarantee a game changer, you may have something here!

For cap moons (or any junk moon) you could include a trap option (although you'd need color mixing at that point) Or have them reward coins, buffs, etc. Always fun to replace things like green rupees with those. Hoping that this'll be compatible with Archi and/or Multiplayer. Looks sick! Also hoping that full rando no/min logic will be available. Might come up at some point in the vod, but I'm only an hour and a half in.

I love the game testing, it's broken, there's a back and forth of opinions and adjusting for it to be "playable", random crashes, weird interactions... I love how much you can make it a new game with the same chassi. I would recommend not randomize the movements, but make it a list to unlock. Then you can always unlock dive on the third moon or put ledge grab always first, etc. It's not as random but it would let the game be more smooth, and in the end you still don't get it regularly with the captures break in. (And Cap moons are like mushroom moons, they should have the same affect. In my opinion)

To avoid getting stuck when looking for ability moons, you could have add a system that unlocks an ability every X moons collected. This way the moons are not "useless" once an area is unlocked. This will make a smoother progression and reduce the risk of being stuck because you can't find enough paths through the randomizer

Regarding the bowser cloud subarea, I don't think it's that weird that it has 6 subareas considering how long the subarea is. Comparing to other zones, loading zones are not usually very large. There may be a maximum size for loading zones, and rather than increasing it, the devs just split the area into multiple zones.

It's more of a reflection of streaming. If you just got there, you don't want to read, you just want to get up to speed and turn off your active brain and turn on passive brain. He is kinda of annoyed but it's part of his job. He can ignore the comments and let others respond them but he addresses it and make content out of them. I'm not annoyed at all, it's 4 or 5 minutes of explaining/making fun of them out of 7 hours of stream. I take these trades everyday
