I looked through the code of the mod, and it looks like for every paragon there's a set value for the damage on the main attack (e.g. "WrathAttack.GetDescendant().damage = 250;" for the druid). The Super monkey paragon does have not have this for its main attack. It instead only has one for the ability damage, which is why it is so great, starting at 200k damage, and scales up to ~400k (degree 100 in sandbox). It also seems like the paragon was intended to have different behavior depending on if the paragon was created with a vtsg or a regular tsg. Its arms change color to all black, but their positions bug. I don't have experience with btd6 modding, but this is what I saw.

@@yoyoy9546 just gave me an idea that a super monkey paragon functions like a sun god, but will only sacrifice other paragons with no limit on sacrifices this could mean the paragon is quite cheap (and weak) relatively however relies on sacrificing high "worth" paragons to be stupidly strong the "worth" of a paragon depends on the cost and degree so high degree, expensive paragons boost the stats the most

The portal does have a lot shorter cooldown, but I think the creator of the mod forgot it was an ability whose cooldown gets reduced from the degree, which makes later degrees have 100% uptime (cooldown starts ticking from portal activation I think)

Yeah I can confirm it’s from activation, which is why several daily challenges have resulted in permanent portals in vanilla BTD6 with 5% cooldown timers.

Every third ability deals less demage because its a crit - crits with this paragon are bugged to giving like 1/4 of the demage instead of 5/4 of the demage or smt (his normal attacks also crit and that is why his nor al dmg is so weak).

I’ve always seen the VTSG as the super monkey paragon. The paragon before paragons. It incorporates the design of all three paths, requires a sacrifice of all three T5s, and even unlike paragons doesn’t let you place any more tier 5 super monkeys

I agree with VTSG being like a paragon from before paragons, but it definitely doesn't include the design of the middle and bottom path supers. No double arms, no ability, no portal, no darkshift. It's just top path super monkey but edgy and powerful.

the design of the paragon is insanely great and fitting. all 3 tiers combined would result in something celestial/astral. the sun (a star), the darkness (the void in the universe) and the anti stuff (antimatter, the stuff that holds galaxies together). i love the design-idea! It could be cleaner tho

Visually 10/10(okay maybe moving pattern would be cool too, but impossible i guess for a mod), but if its paragon gimmic is only 'perma portal' and 'short cd nuke', thats pretty disappointing. From an SM paragon, i'd expect so much more gimmicks.

I think the ‘crit’ abilities might have been bugged because the devs forgot to make that scale with degree It would be a stronger ability for a degree 1 paragon, but since it doesn’t scale it’s just weaker once you get to higher degrees

I agree! Super Monkey Paragon should sacrifice other paragons to get a piece of their power. Would be a lot of work to implement, but maybe give it a unique buff for each paragon? For instance, dart paragon giving it bouncing projectiles, boomerang giving it moab knockback, boat giving it fighter planes, engineer giving it turrets...

2:57 i sort of imagined the super monkey paragon, when it does come out, in order to incorporate top path features, might sacrifice other paragons for more power, which would definitely make it not be super overpowered in bosses, due to the paragon itself already being super expensive and requiring other paragons to actually be significantly more powerful, sort of like how getting a no sacrifice true sun god is probably the worst way you can spend your money on a defense

my best guess is every third ability is a crit but it is coded badly so it would be doing the amount that a degree 1 crit would do even at degree 100. this goes for the main attack as well meaning it does almost no damage

There should be a car guy monkey, different paths would be different car classes (sports, muscle, JDM etc.) Peirce, speed, damage, even a money making ability. Each path has different car mods that makes it better until it's fully modified. Idk I think it'd be pretty cool lmao

There's no way the super monkey paragon would cost 3 mil (if it ever existed). The VTSG ALONE is around 2 mil. A better guess is probably in the 5 mil range

I have a better idea for the super monkey paragon, it could be like the true sun god but like evil and robotic with dark power and ohhh maybe you'll have to have a minimum requirement, it could be like the VSG from BTD5 I personally think it will be cool, also making it super easy to mess up with few ways to be sure of success would be cool.

I mean, I think you guys forgot the Dark True Sun God is "kinda" the super monkey paragon and "kinda" the real first paragon, it might lack some gimmicks but it basically requires all tier 3s to be summoned plus sacrifices and all those things to become stronger, so I guess it has been a "beta version" paragon all this time, and will probably be updated and changed to be the actual super monkey paragon in a future 🤷‍♂️

That's cool design but they could balance him to do more atack damage and less ability damage, so you are not forced to spam it all the time to do damage, also his portal cooldown should not change based on level, maybe just the duration by a little bit, so it's not absolute impenetrable

So basically this paragon is wayyyyyy more powerful than you guys might think, even if it's weaker than a buffed perma-charge with like 20x the price: - It's cooldown with the Anti-Bloon ability lets it solo until round 200 and even then, the black hole cooldown is basically infinite so you shouldn't have any problems unless there was a bug. - If it was buffed, I have a feeling it would be a bit better.

Sounds like some kind of integer overflow, where the damage passed the max amount the system was designed for (eg 999999 for a single instance of damage) so it ended up looping back to 1, or I’m just talking out my ass and it’s something else

On thinking on it, not certain how much sense this makes counting crits, since if it was already overflowing, the crit would lead to more power I’d assume, rather than less but I’m not a programmer so I don’t know.

i think that the most reasonable super monkey paragon would actually be the vengeful true sun god. this would remove 1 monkey knowledge from the list, and then allow NK to add another monkey knowledge somewhere else (probably support for the beast handler)
