PLEASE do not misunderstand my post, I am NOT a bleeding heart, tree hugging, bark eating nutjob, but the second boat.... The cost to buy, maintain, outfit, dock, taxes and pay the crew could pay the income for a small town for a few generations for life.

All those costs you just outlined that could "pay the income for a small town for a few generations" likely does. It takes a lot of people to plan, build, maintain, and service that boat - that is a lot of jobs and a lot of good jobs at that.
