Most of them are tastefully modded and the ones that are extreme are well executed, even if its not my taste. They don't pretend their driving a race car. They don't rattle can their interior and wheels, they actually put effort into their work and do everything the right way. Japanese people don't half ass anything, if they set out to do something they perfect it. Most Americans don't have this mindset hence why you see trashed jdm cars all over the market. Americans don't respect their cars. (generally speaking)
