Health packs and not going too deep will make a massive difference. Survival is drastically more important in MH than quickplay

id say the first use of duplicate only counts as clearing echo, but if its possible to build duplicate again, it could totally count for another hero as long as they actually get to use the heros ult

Depends. On one hand it is technically another hero. On the other hand, Echo's copying allows for a massively increased ult charge rate so it wouldn't be "natural" per se.

Vastly prefer original MH, so I’m happy it’s back in its rightful place in Unranked. Wouldn’t have minded if both versions continued existing. But if they had to choose only one, I think this is the right choice. Now just make it 6v6 for maximum chaos and implement the “Max 3-Min 1” rule set so there’s always at least one of every role and it would be absolutely perfect~

with "min 3 max 1" you could get stuck as the single person on a role you don't like and if nobody else on your team dies, then you have to stay on that role for the entire game even if you respawn.

Mystery heroes role queue is 1000x better the regular mystery heroes. You don’t have to deal with the bullshit of getting 3 shield tanks and 2 OP healers plus them getting cart heals and just rolling you the entire map without stall because the game decided to say F U. What’s worse is rolling the enemy so hard the game say nah, time to lose and give them 3-2 tanks then team wipe them and it says here’s 3 to with healers now. MH role queue was definitely, unequivocally, undeniably, better all around.

@@peterwake5265 It's not that so much, it's just getting 3 tank 2 support vs zero support rolled 4 matches in a row gets old real quick. Having a semblance of structure to prevent stuff like that made the mode way more fun while still getting to play a variety of heroes.

@@peterwake5265 I love mystery heroes in comparison to comp or QP. Plus how is it not mystery? It’s literally a mystery of what character you’ll get next. The difference of non role q is that you add more characters, regardless of role. If you really think about it. There is less mystery if what role you’ll get next in regular mystery heroes too. If you see 3 tanks, you are guaranteed not to get a 4th tank. Same goes for dps and heals. I’ve never seen/had a MH game with 4 tanks..so it’s not a mystery if you die as a 3 tank stack you are respawning as a support or dps. Mystery Role Queue is the most fair and balanced game mode in the game. You don’t have the choice of people going their sweaty characters. If they get them, then that’s the luck of MH. And yes. It’s still mystery heroes just limited mystery heroes. And sadly you focused on the wrong aspect of my rant. But that’s to be expected from someone who does t have the same viewpoint on my take.

It’s having to adapt to the character swaps and learn how to engage each team fight differently because each team fight changes with each win or lost fight because the character swaps.

They dropped the terrible role-queue version of Mystery Heroes the moment Rivals came out. For me, MH queue times were already long for Open Queue, and when they went to role queue it simply killed it. Looks like they brought the Open Queue version back because (a) it's better, and (b) more chance you actually get to play in an evening.
