That was fantastic Will and a nice tribute to JM! Got to meet Mayall quite a few years ago at a small concert venue. Spoke with him for a bit and had him sign one of his CD's for me. Very nice guy and amazing musician who will surely be missed in the music world!

I grew up in Socialist East-Germany. Around 1988, I was still at the university and with the Iron Curtain very well intact, John Mayall and his band was one of the very few international acts to come over to the East giving live concerts. He probably never made good money on it because of the currency issues. But he knew that Blues and Jazz were a huge thing in the former East-Germany with many local bands touring and playing this small country. I listen to him live in the concert hall of the small city Suhl. Very inspiring; he rocked the floor! If you are interested about the rich Blues-scene of the GDR (East-Germany) during the 1960s-1980s, check out those bands: Engerling, Monokel, Zenit, Jonathan Blues Band, Jürgen Kerth, Stefan Diestelmann, Hansi Bibl and the absolute East-German harp master of its time Bernd Kleinow. There is still stuff out there to listen to on the internet. As I later travelled all over the world I realised how far the Blues was played masterly and understood by the audiences in so many so different countries and cultures. But if you are interested in a bit of a historical perspective and specifically behind the iron curtain, check those bands and blues masters. lues was also very popular in Socialist Hungary during the 1970s/1980s and even here and there in the USSR. Nice and excellent solo, Will. Keep it up! Peace! from Dresden / Germany

Everybody says what a wonder you are with the harmonica and there is definitely nothing but respect to you for what you do BUT nobody talks about how you are one with the harmonica and the body language that shows you really love what you do and it also shows there is nothing that would or could stop you to do what you love which is entertaining the world with your "out of this world" harmonica playing skills. And because of that I WILL never stop loving you brother.
