I am a combat veteran who forfeit’s my military retirement pay to obtain VA benefits to care for my injuries. I was rated 100% permanently and totally disabled. However, social security says I am not disabled after 5 years of waiting on them to make a decision. The whole system is deeply flawed. I’m confused and frustrated. I don’t understand how two federal agencies are so far removed from one another.

What in the World? How can you have some kind of benefit of account when we now have unfunded liabilities of 220 Trillion which includes Veteran benefits? Where is the accountability for this monstrosity?
