Hello Asiya! I took the fastrack ielts course for writing and speaking two weeks before. I gave my exam last Saturday and got my results in 3 days. SPEAKING -8 WRITING -7 LISTENING -8 READING 7.5 Overall 7.5. Thank you so much for your guidance. got Band 7 just by watching your videos. L=8.5 R=7.5 W=6.5 S=6 My tips would be that practice more & more listening & reading mock tests. Ultimately, these 2 skills will improve your score. Also, find a speaking partner. I thought practicing in front of a mirror would be sufficient but it's not. If you have no one to practice with then find a partner. Hi! The Speaking exam is informal, so you'll be using "I" a lot. Saying something like, "you know" is speaking is very natural too. In Writing Task 2, many tasks ask for YOUR OPINION, so you should use "I" or "my" to express it. In Academic Task 1, indeed, you shouldn't use personal pronouns. Hope it helps!
