The best history lesson. I am a student, this is the class room. And all us guys with old drag cars are still trying to make a little history of our own. Thanks again Bill.

This is a wonderful, fantastic series! I am very happy to be able to view all of these and learn so much rich history made by this great group of fellows. I was about 11 years old when all of this was taking place. Bill

Thanks, Mickey. Everyone connected with this project is so happy that "guys like you" are diggin' it. We all view each episode differently-they have been made to accommodate a variety of people-young, old, fast readers, or dyslexics like me. So they're a compromise. But for the most part, they seem to be enjoyed by all. And that, my friend is good enough for us. Thanks for letting us know. It's very much appreciated. Bill

Different radius rods after putting that 24" in the frame. The kind you'd always see on Rod Stuckey fabrications. I wonder if Tom made those or they just picked up a used pair.. Now nanny NHRA specifies that heli arc be used on 4130 tubing. So no acetylene torches and coat-hangers and no 2x4s and radiator hose clamps anymore lol. Jeezus even some of the old school slingshot guys just seem to cringe upon hearing about that..

What was the reasoning for removing the idler pulley for the blower belt?
