The Surge 2 banner reward glitch

Got lucky, this glitch happened on its own when I entered the Underground to try the jump skip and farm the Infected Scientists. Meant that every missed jump was an extra 5k in my pocket and after finishing all the enemies I could reset just by falling to my death.

Okay so I have to take it all back The glitch does still work it just doesn't work at the same time and in the same place that it used to at least not for me I finally got it to work at Gideon's Rock and it just actually happened to start working by accident for me

I hope this one works because the old banner glitch is not working anymore which is crazy because this game's been out forever I don't understand I know they didn't patch it it just stopped working I don't get it

I am so confused I just don't know why it's suddenly started working when it wouldn't work for the whole game so far I must have tried it two dozen times

To everyone reading this post. I’m currently doing it right now and can say its still working. I’m up to 282,876 Tech Scraps and getting 5,000 upon each death. Here’s what I did step by step. 1.) Placed a Banner (Where you place it only matters if you want maximum Tech Scraps) in a place where few people will access it. 2.) Wait 1 Hour (Keep note of the time you placed it down as this is important 3.) This step is tricky as ill need to run tests to see if it’s constant. When the 1 hour was up i didnt get a notification indicating the amount of scraps rewarded from the banner nor did i get any reward after the hour passed. I placed the banner down at 5:51pm and when 6:51pm came no notification popped up. However, when I died and came back I had the 5000 Scraps rewarded on my character. Every death afterwards repeatedly rewarded me 5000 scraps (Plus whatever scraps i got from killing enemies). So it seems that when the 1 hour is up the game waits until you either return to the game after a save and Exit, leave a Medbay or Change Zones to check and reward you banner Scraps. If this is true then you wait 1 hour then die about a couple minutes after then the glitch should trigger. 4.) After the 1hr is up and you died you shouldve respawned back with Tech Scraps equal to what the Banner rewarded you with. Pick up your dropped scraps and go die again. Rinse and repeat. DO NOT Change Zones, use a Medbay, or quit the game as it removes this glitch. As unbelievable as this is this game must have received an update and they did patch the old banner glitch because it definitely doesn't work anymore I tried it a half a dozen times and I know they've updated the game because there are new soldiers in this part of the game that I never saw before

@@miguelbeoulve8247 it happened to me. I got a 4,500 scrap reward from my banner but ended up dying during the Boss (Little Johnny i think). Came back and got 4,500 tech scraps again. I came back with ANOTHER 4,500 scraps but then got jumped and died then came back with another 4,500 scraps. I did it 5 times total to see what was going on and each time i got 4,500 from the banner. I farmed it until i got 150k then deposited it. The glitch stops working if you interact with the med bay

@@miguelbeoulve8247 Im going to describe this as best as I can. To go into further detail from my previous comment. After I died to Little Johnny I was respawned back at the broken bridge which is where i was at last before figuring out where I had to go. The broken bridge I’m speaking about is the one where the enemy using the BORAX-1 Quantum Mace is. It leads to this dead end area or at least for me its a dead end. Thats where I noticed i was getting 4500 Scraps every time I died. There arent many videos that discuss this glitch but the ones that you can find and read the comments there a people who still say this is happening.

Bro just glitch through walls and find ways out of the map then place your banner, ive had 0% every single time ive placed mine

@@nobodynobody51 Well if you understand how game creators make their maps itll make this easier to explain. Some parts of the map that the devs dont expect you to be able to get to, they try to save game space by just pasting in an unphysical wall. Theres some places in the game that you can find ways to jump over impassable walls and just walk through these unphysical walls out of the map.
