Yeah. Weapon types and it just depends on which limbs you are damaging the most to receive that finisher animation.

There's also a generic finisher for each weapon type that you can do if you don't damage a specific limb enough to guarantee a cut.

One handed is the vibrocutter(?) which is available almost immediately at the start of the game. I believe the heavy duty is one of the security guard weapons or is looted from one of their PAX robots (actual boss rewards a single rigged weapon, I recall). Single rigged is one I forget the name of, but is available at the same time as the vibrocutter. Staff is the MG Negotiator which is obtainable from the security guards who wield them. Twin rigged is the Yosuke Butterfly which can be obtained from enemies wielding it.

Pretty oversimplified, I do all those things and still die My recomendation is to study attack patterns, prioritize stamina, and go for maximum impact without risking attack speed for nippy-ness

@@TheCompleteMental as i said, dont risk, which also means pay attention to your stamina or youre dead. I actually use the 2.0 version of weapon u get from second boss, mk III. It has around 40 damage and high speed, pretty effective if you ask me
