The Surge of the Blue Galaxy in Forge of Empires | FoE 2024

A lot of old heads aren't going to like what I'm about to say but math doesn't lie. If you want the best possible exponential and multiplicative scaling for your city and combat stats, you will level up blue galaxy right after your arc. This isn't 2016 anymore. We are playing Forge of Fragments now with all of the new and powerful event buildings. You need to double collect fragments every single day to scale as fast as possible. This is especially true for newer players just starting. The best buildings in the game by order (according to the math) are the Arc, Blue Galaxy, and Arctic Orangery. Happy leveling!

BG >Settlement building or building of your choice>self-aid>finish special production>self-aid >finish special production and repeat

Leveling up BG right after Arc is pretty good idea now. Because Event Buildings are very powerful, other GBs are not necessary for your city (except for AO and maybe Traz if your units production is still low). GB need FPs, BPs and also time to level up if your 1.9 threads are quite slow. But for Event Buildings, you just need to place it and upgrade them to max level in just few seconds. You get a lot of FPs for leveling your BG, overpower Atk boost for fighting and also Goods for donations to the guild

If one is patient, they can save up to 10 forgotten temples, and collect as many finish all special productions as you can, and of course have many mass self aid kits, depending on your forge piont collection average in your city, lets just say it has the potential to break the game.

Note: When assigning production buildings, you can use the number keys on the keyboard - 1: 5 minutes, 2: 15 minutes, 3: 1 hour, 4: 4 hours, 5: 8 hours, 6: 24 hours. I get click fatigue.

My BG helper does not show the eye. It seems to be cut short showing Done in 21ho, rather than 21 hours and the eye. How do I get it?

Try expanding your BG Helper box in the bottom right corner.....You can adjust it!! Click and drag it farther out.

The BG is now tied with the Arc for the best GB, easily. You can farm _so many_ FPs from your city with this, and fragments. It's completely essential if you play the events and settlements. You can farm more FPs from the Arc, but it takes effort, time, and luck with snipes. With the BG, you don't have to do anything you're not already doing - collecting your city.

QI is alright but do other things first. Anniversary event is going well. I have started doing settlements again. How was the eclipse btw?

Yeah, QI has not become my favorite element of the game right away. I'm still figuring it out. I loved the first set of rival quests for the Anniversary event - I did all 32 and got some awesome new buildings and the Orrery upgrade! The eclipse had a huge buildup and it did not disappoint. Certainly one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen!

What happens when you pay the 5 diamonds and collect from every building at once? Will it automatically pick the best building first?

That's a great question...I'm not sure. I just collect my 15 "most important" buildings with my BG charges to make sure I get those and then I do the auto collect.

If you have a trailside smithy, bg is the best building if you in the space ages as you can fill your city faster with jester stages, if you are a starter and still have normal houses and/or supply and goods buildings even with any event building, bg will be en par with the arc, ao is worthless if you are fighting with higher age units( like using next age light unit from cider gardens)

Thanks for the comment. I love the AO, as well....but the value gets diminished just a bit in the game because there are many folks playing with higher age units. I fought with Hovers in PE for a looooong time! Appreciate your thoughts.

BG @ lvl 146 is 74%.. still x15 (mine has been at 91 for years) Courtesy of D world. I use mine to collect on my (3) Panda shrines which are 160FP each before bonus... so yeah the BG is a HUGE force multiplier. Generates an easy extra 1000FP per daily collection.

lol :D haha well it is a good one to have I got mine up to 73% going for 75 half of me is like do I tell people how to play well or do I just wait for them to fail and quit? ... It's a grind that keeps on going bg bonus do I use it on the best in my city or do I use my spe collect all to use it one one building over and over again like my mughal temple? that's 175 goods 130 fp and 8 fragments of sp collection x 15 with a return of about 40% on the sp collection (8*1.73)=13.84 13.84/30 = 46.13% return which means to do this every day you only need to make 7 more a day to do this every day :D lol

QI is terrible. Start in a new city every 2 weeks? Why would I want to? Follow someone else’s guide on how to “get the most out of it” why bother playing if you’re just doing what others do? It’s clear this is just another Inno money grab and l hope it dies fast.

I can see why you would say this. The guide has just been helpful for me to get my head around the concepts of what I should be doing. Robotic following would be boring, I agree. Overall I have mixed feelings about QI....trying to give it some time to simmer and see how I feel once I better understand it and experience a few rounds and how it does or does not align with my strengths and play style.
