If you came to the video because of knee pain you will love the first half and cry in the second. It's a fantasy that I could practice any of these exercises. Great presentation.

I've seen each of these exercises separately in other videos, with less clear explanations and no pre-education. Very nice video, thorough, and everything all in one place ❤

Thanks for sharing. No knee pain in my 70’s. Been doing 3 of the movements you shown. Not the pistol squat. Will give it a try. 👍

Thank you for this free video! Never thought of my knee as a victim joint but after watching this it makes so much sense. Now, after 3 knee surgeries, I understand that it’s not my knees but my hip and or ankles…..for sure my ankles…..question- is your mobility program structured like this? I think I’ll get it. Ty!

Great video. During my Quadricep Tendon Rupture recovery, I had to do the Peliquin Step Down. It was so difficult. I have not tried it in a while so I will do it tomorrow in the gym. Thanks.

The exercise with the bands at the side of the knee was the missing key I needed to fully provide tension to all the ligaments and tendons around the knee and not only front and back. Is it ok to put the band at the other side too so I train the internal and external portions of the knee joint?

Vanja, you've explained this knee pain issued well. How would you modify the exercises for seniors who are not in such great shape and have survived cancer, accidents,....? Thank you
@Movesmethod2 ай бұрын
As long as you have no pain doing any of these you can do them. For example you can modify the single leg squat further by doing a regular squat to a box. You can modify the split squat to do a step up. Keep moving 🔥🔥

First static hold was surprisingly hard. Good. That’s the problem area Single leg squat. Can’t do on right leg. Problem area. Maybe if I could I wouldn’t have the knee pain. Last two exercise: easy but seems like I need them.

Hi, thank you for putting this for free. I have degenerative meniscus tear in right knee, every Dr had suggested surgery, but I haven't gone though it. It's been more than an year but I am managing it well as of now. Moving without pain but sometimes I feel it's still there and any sudden jerk gives me sharp pain at that movement. Can't dare to run or jump. I was thinking to buy your sessions will it be beneficial for me?

Never do surgery, I did and what a mistake. Now 5 years later I am back in pain if I set for to long I barely can work, my knee pops out all the time and sometimes is very painful

Hey there! Another great vid and thank you for that. Got a question though - what if my knee hurts "inside" whilst performing those exercises especially single leg squat and split squat? Are those still suitable for me and the pain will go away if i strengthen the knee?
@Movesmethod2 ай бұрын
I can’t say without knowing more put you should def not train through pain. Strain is good but if we have pain we need to make sure to pick the appropriate exercises and variations to address that movement pattern
@bartoszhojnacki2233Ай бұрын
@@Movesmethod thank you very much for reply. I’ve decided to try out as cautious as possible as well as control the movement with assistance. I’ve noticed that with each series the pain goes away and I have improved range of motion. Also really thanks for deep squad challenge idea. Even though i struggle to accumulate 30 mins but I already see significant body proprioception comfort increase

Exactly this. Inside of my right knee hurts a little on single leg squat. I'll proceed with caution

Great advice! I had knee issues at 59 yers old. Worked my way to being able to do full ROM ATG goblet squats which completely cured my knees. Shorter ROMs hurt my knees more). It took me over a year to be able to go full ROM squatting to a depth of six inches. Now I can do over half my bodyweight at 66 years young: kzbin.info/www/bejne/naa8coGQidibqdksi=dDXVoSiql3dMOcjJ&t=13 Saving your video to show to those with knee issues. Much thanks!

Ditto. I think many of us who have the knee problems aren't strong enough to start at this level.
