This is out of this world! I mean your dedication for the subject of surviving. Even if you never need to use these skills I find this very interesting and important to know. And the fact that you know, you will also be in control when it comes to survival situation or even a camping trip. Knowing these skills makes me feel powerful and confident in a way no other skill will do. When you are out in the woods it doesn't matter are you a doctor or president but if you have a lack of knowledge in these primitive skills our smart ancestors were able to create, you are in trouble. Thank you fr building this awesome playlist of different traps so people don't have to search them around internet!

Thank you for sharing this. Can you all shed any light on timeframes, or timelines associated with different trap types, species, locations & seasons? Or for example which trap type is the most universally reliable within a specific timeframe regardless of location, environment or species? Is there any existing content that you all have created that answers the above questions?

Other videos on this topic frequently assume too much knowledge and/or lack the level of detail and explanation to be helpful. This video has just what I need. I hope to be able to take a class with you. Thank you for your videos, from which I have learned a lot.

I've trapped several house mice and field mice with a Paiute dead fall trap and cardboard box. And I've trapped a few raccoons with a hav-a-heart type live trap. I'd think that to trap and kill a raccoon in a Paiute dead fall, you'd need a damned heavy rock. Raccoons are tough and resilient. I might try it.

Who came up with your logo? Just FYI it means 666. X=6x3 :( Was it intended?

+aHigher Power it's not actually an X. It's the Greek sigma symbol mirrored on itself.

lol not a big deal but it's called a shaka not a hang ten. Hang ten is when you hang ten toes over the edge of your surf board. XD aloha from the islands.

I like your videos, but 8:57 is a to long video for explaining a trap.
