I am surprised by the amount of criticism. I work as aerospace engineer for a company where we design actual airplanes. Certainly things can be much better designed and improved - that’s always the case. But, progress at all levels is made by people that “do and try”. People that only provide passive criticism help nobody, not even their ego !!! To those who put themselves and tried to make this machine flying - well done !!! Keep on improving !!!

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.
@sharonjeyakumar52594 жыл бұрын
@@1islam1 it is not the same message preached by jesus, moses and abraham. This is the message of jesus- For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40 Matthew 20:18-19 “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.” For one will scarcely die for a righteous person-though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.-Romans 5:7,8 Roman's 3.23 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Roman's 6.23 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 3.16 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Romans 10.9 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:13 “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Believe in Jesus the king of kings and lord of lords who came to earth to die for our sins,because the wages of sin is death and we are deserved to die but jesus who is God became a man and dwelt on earth and died in our place. Yet rose from the dead as a proof that our sin debt has been paid. Only jesus can save you, not Muhammad who is a sinner (Sarah 48:2, 40.55) who died because of his own sin. But jesus lived a perfect life. And he will come again one day to save his people. Hi, being a single rotor RC. helicopter pilot and having flown a full size one I know how super sensitive the controls can be, it looks like you hold the stick right at the bottom, a little movement at the bottom translates to a lot of control input, possible making the craft unstable, the helicopter cyclic stick is quite long therefore(in RC. speak "DR and exp"), tiny and I mean tiny bits of input make a big difference to the attitude of the helicopter. May be something to think about. Your idea is a great one by the way, build some redundancy into it and your on your way (safety.... ,cant 'Glide' or 'Auto Rotate' one of these), but maybe you already have.

I like what you are doing but the issue you and the others that are trying to lift so much with so many is that motors props are EFFECTING each other they are in reality trying to eat the same air and also creating vibration and turbulence. If you reduce the number and duct and go with a quad prop you will control air flow in a top to bottom flow and spacing them out wont STRAVE the other of air. It will also be much safer, GOOD LUCK
@gasturbine1018 жыл бұрын
There is no evidence of what you say. Current draw of an example node is about 25A at lift off and at 25A an isolated prop is providing approximately 2.7Kg of thrust - the crafts weight divided by 60. So they are all working together without significant loss. A single column of air is passing through the array. Indeed each prop is helping each other's tip loss. A large number has to be used for redundancy. I've had two ESCs fail. The main problem is the stability is not good enough to give me confidence to go higher. I'm exploring settings and alternative flight controllers as many criticise the KK2.15 and suggest the Naze 32.
@OneTwo-wt8qv8 жыл бұрын
Im not critical I love what you are doing. I want your success. The primary efficiency-related purpose of a duct/shroud/ring around a propeller is to fix a problem created by abnormally high disk loading (trying to get too much thrust out of a prop that is too small). Assuredly, if there were such great advantages in using them, we'd almost never see a "naked" prop on any scale of aircraft.However, there are indeed proper applications for a shroud, the most notable being one of dimensional constraint. If for some reason you must generate lots of thrust from a short prop, such as with an autogyro (gyroplane) where you obviously don't want the prop to collide with the main rotor, then having a duct is a good idea. The Carter Copter and the high-speed-record-setting Sikorsky helicopter both come to mind as appropriate applications of duct technology. If you need a compact form factor for some reason, a duct might be the answer. If you want to reduce the prop strike dangers, it's hard to ignore the potential safety benefits of some sort of barrier, efficiency considerations aside (the shrouded tail rotors on some helicopters comes to mind - they are a significant ground ops hazard).CHEERS !
@fredpinczuk73528 жыл бұрын
One Two as a valid point. Ducked fan/prop are more efficient than open props. The counter argument is the additional weight and complexity. It does add some safety feature as the prop is less exposed. You could also look at counter rotating as well to try to improve the lift efficiency. Higher efficiency would mean less throttle required for the same lift. Therefore greater control. aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/9940/what-are-the-advantages-and-disadvantages-of-ducted-fans-in-designs-such-as-the

I can see stability issues. The control for moving forward, reverse, and sideways is obviously complex, and also including maintaining stability and stable altitude control. You would have to have a lot of battery power to have range to be of any practicality. There would have to be some type of safety system in case of any type of failure. I would think building up a drone type of platform using 4 large motor propeller type constructions, one for each corner of a platform would be a lot simpler. for control and stability. All I can say is I wish the pilot of this machine a lot of luck! I see it as being a dangerous type of venture to get in to... I have to admit, I was impressed to see this type of aircraft!

Actually, it is flying. Just not very high. Indeed he is scared to go higher, but heck, i wouldnt either without getting familiar with it first and testing the mechanics. That was probably intended. And it would be stupid to just go up and find, 15 m above ground, that there is a system flaw, which cuts power to all engines.

I've just done another test flight with higher P values and still I don't feel in control, the craft does stay fairly level but drifts around. Still not much stick authority. Risks rolling if I touch down with significant side motion. So I don't have any confidence to get any height, just a few feet still.
@jkors8 жыл бұрын
+gasturbine101 very nice project.... for tuning drift usually you have to change I value instead of P value.... at least for the mini quads.... maybe it will help you to get in control.... keep up the nisce work and don't let the haters get you down.

I'm wondering, why don't You use couple bags of potatoes in a pilot seat and a regular RC transmitter? That would allow You to take a bit more aggressive approach on testing, like raise to 10-15 meters where ground effect won't disturb the Swarm that bad. Later You could test it with pilot, when it is much more stable and safe.

just wire the motors to a series of controllers. Easy. Probably much easier than putting that manual mess together
@Engineer97367 жыл бұрын
It's what i wanted to opt indeed. But i think quite complicated custom software will be needed with so many motors in every spot. Got to control pitch yaw roll of the whole aircraft by adjusting every single motor it's speed. But trying to fly this manually, without controller, by developing the skills for it seems like a waste of time anyway.

My previous answer was to your question ( let's see what you have build ). The answer was : nothing . We don't have a lot of cash to spend on a stupid idea of a drone with 100 brushless motors . @Waveluth7 жыл бұрын
Sorry that was not a nice thing to say. I apologize. But seriously your design is off. The blades are too high off the ground for starters. 4/6 bladed props powered by a serpentine belt attached to a 18 hp. V-twin behind a fire walled seat. Control forward/back and side/side by attaching your Prop frames onto a single stick manually controlled universal joint. I've done it and it works awesome up to around 40' Video to follow soon. Belt problems need to be solved. Luckily the belt failed at 15' and not 40'. I was in hover mode thankfully and not moving forward. It will achieve speeds of nearly 50mph. See you soon hopefully. ✈️
