Dear lord. It's not like he was trying to make it sound like Will Oldham. I don't even like Will Oldham. The original melody would have turned me off an otherwise good song. Glen made that song, those feelings, accessible to different people by using HIS style. That's what a cover is. His performance is as soulful as a thousand Bonnie Billys. Glen can take a good idea and turn it into an amazing show. If you don't prefer this style, don't listen to covers. Otherwise shut up and enjoy.
