When you say "3rd party" you seem to be completely ignoring indie games because Switch has a TON of Amazing indie games, and even some that Sony doesn't have like the Ori games and Cuphead. There's even games that Xbox doesn't have like Dave the Diver, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and tons of JRPGs and other games that completely skip the Xbox platform. Just because Switch doesn't have "current gen" 3rd party games doesn't mean it lacks in _all_ 3rd party games, especially legacy franchises like Bayonetta, Sonic the Hedgehog, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Metal Gear and Monster Hunter.

@Thundermight Do they sell systems? No. Are there Indies out there that are better than some AAA games? In this generation of live service crap, absolutely. Switch is only console to play almost every major Indie, retro and JRPG in one place. The Switch's library is bigger and more diverse than Sonys/MS, filled with Bangers of all kinds, from AAA, AA, Indie to Retro. That is the most important thing about a consoles library.

The Switch 2 will probably be a bit more powerful than the PS4, which we know from several leaks. and most PS5 games can be played on PS4 and it will probably be the same for the PS6 as technology no longer advances in the same way as it used to. So the third party support is going to be crazy. And from the same leaks, Switch 2 will probably be backwards compatible, so the game library will be Something Else

I’m definitely getting a Switch 2 when it drops. I love my OLED Switch but my ps5 gets mostly ignored. It’s not about power when it comes to games for me. It’s about fun and convenience.

I have a rog ally. It plays all consoles up to PS3 and Xbox 360. It can play all new games (RDR2, God of War, Spider Man). And with Yuzu I play all Switch games. So ultimately the question is, which console has the best library, and the answer definitely isn’t the Switch. The Rog Ally is the best handheld ever made

Even my Android can do that LMAO. And I have a superpower PC and a ROG Strix laptop. But I still love my Switch and my smaller handheld devices. Ally or Deck are too big and heavy for me to lay up and play. Plus I bet your Ally will run out of battery fast with those AAA games. So there is not one "best handheld ever made" for everyone, it depends.

If it had a few more system features such as proper folders, themes and a better preforming eshop that isn't just a web page than maybe.... the joy con failure rate is something that also harshly affects the system. My biggest wish though is that cloud saves were free like PC and Xbox and we could buy retro games instead of being forced to subscribe to Switch online. Great video though for such a small channel!

Personally i dont think the switch is the best, i dont think its a great console because it lacks a lot, like proper ergonomics, joysticks that dont drift and are full sized, and ofcourse the bad performance, but the exclusive games are great to play and the design itself is very innovative. I personally dont have a switch (though i have tried a few many times), but i emulate a lot of its games

@@Thundermight unfortunately the switch cant handle AAA games like those who need lots of power. many switch game versions have been cut down due to the lack of power of the switch. most great games are on xbox and ps5 but you not have choice to have a switch for the nintendo games like zelda and mario games. if i want play call of duty or nhl 24 or any AAA games that need much power , i cant play them on the switch because it sucks and they dont release them on the switch. its not just a matter of the controller but the lack of power of the switch that cant handle the most powerful games.

I have had ever Nintendo Console the switch is cheaply made I have replace every part starting with a joy-con after only a month and a half as far as quality alone I disagree. Some of the games are outstanding like Mario and Zelda. For kids maybe, but with games like God of War, Elden ring, Red Dead Redemption 2, Monster Hunter World /Wilds, Astro Bot and the all the PS4 games I would have to say I disagree for me.

@@Thundermight Mario Bowser's fury, BOTW, TOTK, Mario Odyssey and Luigi's Mansion 3 are 5 of my favorite games of all time. I do like the games and the pro-controller I consider myself a 65 year old kid at heart it is the hardware I am not happy with. Had the gamecube for 15 years no problem the wii 12 years made noise but still worked the switch in 4 years replaced every part.
