I love Costa Rica! Specially that region of Turrialba City and it's many villages scattered on the surrounding beautiful mountains , we visit every year. That's our "head quarters " spot , so serene ,a little house on the Ssn Juan Sur section, from there we travel north south, east and west, Pacific coast or Caribbean coast. Make sure everyone visit Turrialba and move anywhere from there. Pura Vida hnos Ticos !

Awesome… so, did you coordinate with tour guide for the stage “that happen” to be near your accommodations or are you rejoining with same tour company? What month? Highest elevation?

I live in Costa Rica and contacted TRAILS, which organises hikes for locals. Not sure what the elevation was. I hope to do all 16 stages at some point, but for the time being, I'm mostly doing hikes around my town of Jacó. Thanks for watching
