You know bands have to mature. When my friend first showed me The Sword I was like woah where have they been my whole life? Then High country came out and I was even more blown away, they showed that they don't have to just stick to rocking heavy riffs. If they didn't change then we would have people on here bitching about how they never change they still sound exactly the same. With most bands I listen to their first few albums and after that they go stale on me. Not The Sword. I still get that feeling like I'm discovering something new every time I listen to them. My brother who only listens to rap fell in love with Used Future, as much as I listened to the rest of their shit their absolute newest album caught his attention, and since then he goes through and puts The Sword every time we go somewhere. I'm so sad that they have gone on hiatus. Another System of a Down. now I'll never get to see them live :'(

I love this band. Does anyone else think that the sword really did something here? I think I can go as far to say they invented their own genre of music. I call it science metal. It might need a better name. But come on. Used future... Sounds like southern rock mixed with heavy metal and techno. It awesome. I love all the swords music. But this album tops them all.
