Been thinking of going back to this version of swordsoul. A lot of times it feels the halq build just has a higher power ceiling but is more fragile. Love the profile!

That's exactly what it is. And with the swordsoul engine it's still more resiliant than a lot of halq decks. But i do think i agree on tenyi swordsoul being the better deck overall because it can adapt better and the ceiling is high enough

I understand why people like the halq build, I just think the tenyi version is much more resilient and capable of breaking boards/eating interruption. It’s also just more fun to play for me personally, but I understand why people enjoy the halq build! Just not my style uwu

While I like the spicy sigma tech since its great against strikers and trap decks in general I find the nib example problematic. Since the only way to usually out sigma is to beat over its 3k atk they have a nibiru with 3k atk to crash into it. Also Proud of you :)

Not super worried about the mirror, I played a mirror and it didn’t pose any issues, so I haven’t felt the need for it just yet but considering ruddy rose sucks, I might play it!

I do not play Swordsoul in any known style. Next to Mo Ye, Long Yuan and Taia I play Iris which everybody underestimates (searchable and technically even easily summonable through Chalice, Droplet, etc.) and you can combine her with Trade In for speed - no Desires. Also I recently splashed in E Tele but not with Grand Creators cards but a few Myutants (M-05 and Mutant) because they can thin out the deck and result in Myutant Beast, another Level 8. He is unaffected by Monster Effects (e.g. DPE) and he can negate a Spell. Also more Level 8s means you can overlay them for stuff like Zombie Vampire if you need him. Plus Level 8 with the Peacock Fusion makes another Level 10 Synchro. The deck is also not completely token dependent so Token Collector is a bit less dangerous.
