I want this era to return. The innocence, love, and respect that The African Community experienced male and female was beautiful energy, that I will cherish. I am a proud 70's baby. I would not trade those days for anything of today.

@Phil07050 Hysterical! In the early days The Sylvers and The Jacksons used to play basketball and stuff together. Later Janet recorded several songs that Sylvers wrote/produced. Certain Jackson fans probably don't wanna talk about that kinda stuff I guess haha....

I saw photos of the groups together. Those were the days. Love and mutual respect for one another. Not the one-upmanship and hatred towards one another that's the current status quo. Not entirely their fault the enmity was put there, that was by design. But kids just don't realize when you do that no one wins.

The. Sylvers ,made some of the great is. Love songs of all time, a lot of people, thought ,they was a imitation of the Jackson 5, I don't think so, cause they had there sisters singing with them, And they wrote a lot of there songs, ,the oldest, brother that is. They voted him out of the group, that was a dummy move, he went to write great hits for shalamar ,,and lake side .

One of the Sylvers substituted one of the Jacksons on their cartoon series in the second season.
@wilsonmjw20017 жыл бұрын
groovy edmund did that
@PearsonJd27 жыл бұрын
He never subsituted. Edmund was cast as the voice of Marlon on the Jackson 5 cartoon from the beginning, though they did spell his last name wrong

Label negligence may have been the reason why the family switched over to Capitol a year or so later.
