Agreed, there was SO much that I'd have loved to know about this monster that wasn't covered. Simon asked the writer to not make it sound like an ad.. and it felt very much like the writer basically copy pasted the entirety of Royal Caribbean's marketing material on this ship. After only discovering Megaprojects recently I've been absolutely addicted to it for the past few weeks, but this is so far below the quality of the rest of them. And it seemed like Simon was aware of that.. Still, the testicular shenanigans cracked me up.

@@godlugner5327 Once on the cruise, you can book a behind-the-scenes tour where they'll show you all the parts of the ship that aren't intended for passengers. You get to see the bridge, engine control room, kitchen, crew's quarters, recycling area and more. They also go over things like how much water is used, what happens to waste, and so much more. Simon, going on a Carnival cruise is one of the best vacations I have ever experienced. I was only 14 when my grandmother took myself and my 15yr old cousin with her on a trip we booked together to Ensenada Mexico. It is one of my fondest memories. The sight of the spiraling stairways and detail put into designing the interior of the ship is breath taking and strikes you from the moment you first board. Its not only the incredible design of the ship that will leave you in awe, but the adventures you can partake in when you dock at port. If you ever have the opportunity, you should absolutly go! I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing adventure and out of the ordinary experience.

@249346373 жыл бұрын
To answer your question: YES, cruise ships do generally have a brig. Normally a sparsely furnished room close to the security office, that can be locked securely from the outside. This is usually used for crew or passengers who can't safely be contained in their own cabin, and under normal circumstances the person concerned would be removed from the ship and handed over to authorities next time the ship docks. No idea if they have a 'First Class' brig similar to a 5* hotel room, and a 3rd class similar to the 'Hanoi Hilton'.

It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I just cannot get it out of my head. The wind blowing past made the whole experience ever more memorable. There are a wide variety of cruises to choose from and many are aimed at young people, families, etc. For some places they are the most practical way to go on a trip - the Antarctic, Alaska, etc. Anyway, I’ve had my Wahl clippers for many years and I really like them.

Evergreen is the name of the shipping company, I'm assuming you are referring to the Ever Given.

Whoever edited this episode has a great sense of humor. I giggled out loud when I saw that clip from The Ring and whatever the panda clip was.

My cousin, her husband, her daughter and her mum went on a Royal Caribbean cruise onboard the Harmony Of The Seas in 2017. They took a 7 day cruise around Northern Europe and said that the ship was so big that they didn’t see everything on board. I saw it when I dropped them off and picked up from Southampton. It was bloody vast.

There is reason every time we went to eat there was someone in the entrance greeting people with, “Hello, washy washy...”

@@nateborck4577 it is actually washy washy happy happy😂 unfortunately some people didn’t have the good habit of washy washy after they poopy poopy so they had to be told to do so for everyone’s safety. I think the new ships are much better because they have the sinks there to wash your hands

You tend to give the royal Caribbean crew members a great rating because they are scared of losing their jobs P&O is less stressful

Take the £45k buy a holiday home and go as many times as you want for the rest of your life !

Where are you finding holiday homes for £45k? Stone & thatch bungalows in buttfuck nowhere at the Scottish Highlands?
@danielnaylor34343 жыл бұрын
The type of people dropping $45k on a week long stay in a first class luxury suite aboard this ship can afford to buy that holiday home, too, without batting an eye. Now excuse me as I go back to my dinner of ramen noodles.

For those whom had seen me commenting here a lot, yes I had not been successful. But I'll add another mega project suggestion to the list Benban Solar Park, Aswan High Dam, Bar Lev Line and Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

I've been on two cruises, one on Celebrity where I was among the youngest at 30 years old. Most people were in their 60s and above Then I went on a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise and was far more average age (33 at the time two years ago) Ages of peeps on board depends on the cruise line. Personally find them to be brilliant and can't wait until my next

"Do they have prisons on cruise ships?" In fact they do. They have a brig where people who get unruly are put. How do I know? I worked on a cruise ferry a few years back.

I went on a cruise for my honeymoon, we were 30 years old... And loved it! There weren't TOOOOO many old people. I reckon the average age was late 40s but there were plenty of younger people too.

This video in itself is an amazing peice of art. The way Simon calls out to Royal Caribbean and then at the end of the video, sly as a fox, drops that he also covers cruise related news. Is this how ALLEGEDLY legal blackmail works?

"transatlantic" ships are NOT equal to "cruise" ships. While transport ships are designed to bear storms, cruise ships have to surround them (although they can take the blow, but it will not be nice)
