Thanks for recognizing the synths cause I truly believe they can make a song special. Just got into an argument with someone about how the executive producer is the one that gets the credit for the music. I know David was the producer but for anyone that plays the synths my hats off to you! The kinda music I grew up on.♥️😘

@@davidfrank5115 I have to say even this is a treat, you yourself replying...my to all time favorite songs of the System are Soul to Soul....poetry to a mellow midtempo groove and Love won't wait for Loving from the Pleasure Seekers LP . Your mesmerizing synth work interwoven with Mic's vocals put you a cut above your contemporaries .
@davidfrank51153 жыл бұрын
Palex, Soul to Soul was and still is one of our best. We wanted it to be first single from R and R but our label head at the time told us she didn't like the "soul" music reference in the title. 3 months later she released Soul 2 Soul the English band. We always suspected that was the true reason. In any case the song lives on as music does:) Love won't Wait is a really cool musical entity which we cowrote with guitar player Paul Pesco. He also cowrote I Wanna Make You Feel Good and Promises can Break and I'm Dangerous. These were the only cowrites we did on the Atlantic Albums. We worked so hard on an of this music 24/7 and we continue to do that to this day with the music we are writing now although it's more like 23/6 now...HAHA. thx again. I'll forward your comments to Mic and Paul too
