In Australia now riding a 1971 T120, 1952 Velocette and a 1951 Douglas Mk IV . Would ride my BSA through Bowland and the Lakes, from Blackburn in the late 1960's. C15 not quick but reliable, I was 16 and invincible. Thanks for the view of my teenage stomping ground, it ain't changed much. Still bloody brilliant out there.

Matt, superb work! Congrats What an astonishing route and views... uau! Some local Tourism authorities should take notice of your videos and have them promoted as "Road-books through our beloved country-land" Genius camera angle there at 3'44'' and later on through Lancaster... solid quality Portfolio and still, your keep improving with each new video. Well done! I say it again: you're a man with excellent good-taste, and I hope some day I'll have the opportunity to take a Road Trip from Porto-Portugal to these "backyards" of yours... See you soon mate, get well, stay safe, take care and have fun! Cheers from PORTUGAL

That's a ride i often take. I've not got out this year, Just not had time to put my new tires and do a service until recent. Am already to go and it now rains like mad this weekend. Those roads you are travelling are so empty and yet have such beautiful scenery. It amazes me how little people traverse those roads for the scenery, But im ok with that. Its all mine when im out there. Safe riding.

@ClassicRides 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Stuart, sorry I didn’t see your comment as it’d been held for review (who knows why!?). The light and engine bars where just off eBay. I think the spotlight is from a Harley, but there’s no markings on it so can’t be sure. And the bars are just a cheaper alternative to Triumph’s fairly expensive dresser bars, don’t think they do much in a drop but they do provide a good place to hang lights/cameras from.

@ClassicRides
@ClassicRides 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Darroll, I bet you can’t wait to get your bike, next summer seems an age away. I’ve changed quite a lot on my bike, too much to list out here really. A lot of the custom parts are from Motone Customs so it’s worth checking out their website if you want to upgrade your bike a bit. Some of the other parts I’ve changed are Hagon rear shocks, Tec adjustable front springs, added cruise control, Cotswold Hipster panniers, K&N air filter, Booster plug, Vance & Hines pipes. There’s loads you can do to these bikes, but a few new shiny parts from Motone is a great place to start!

Hi Mohd, in this video the bags are the Berkeley Panniers from Cotswold Hipster. They’re very simple to attach as there’s just two leather straps that go around the seat frame which have lobster clasps, these just simply clip onto rings on the back of the bag.

I've not been out in more than a shower with them yet, but they're very heavy waxed canvas so I imagine they'll be good for a little while in a downpour. It’s a tough one, the T120 has the looks but the Speed Twin has a little more grunt and alloy wheels. I had 3 punctures last summer so feel qualified to say getting a flat on a spoked wheel will ruin your entire weekend 😁 Looks or practicality is your choice I think.
