The Tail of the Dragon! This COULD have been BAD! 😱

Finally made it to the Tail of the Dragon! We had 1 issue, but aside from that, it was a blast. It was definitely a learning experience for the next Dragon experience!
Also, not sure what happened with the audio and video at the end. Something to figure out for sure.

I've run the dragon twice back in the early 2000's in my then C4 corvette. Nothing short of an absolute blast. Been thinking of running it again in my 2000 vette....

Do it! It was such a blast to drive up and down the mountain in the C6! You won’t regret the drive! Just remember to take tools! 🫣

@@BoozeBrosAndCars In my C4 I went up the mountain with the top off. Decided to put it on for the drive down and it wouldn't fit from all that body flex. Took four of us to secure it.

😲 that’s crazy that there was that much flex where you couldn’t put the traga top back on 😱

@@BoozeBrosAndCars Yep. If ypu're familiar with how the roof attaches on a C4, there are four guide holes on the halo and A pillar. The bolts on the roof itself have to line up with those hose and screw in......it took one person on each corner pushing down while I screwed in the bolts.

C6’s are a BLAST! Coming from Florida, driving the Corvette on the mountains just feels like the car belongs there

What mods did you do to get it to 500? im looking to get my stock c6 to around that number what did you do intake headers and cam tune..

@@teddydavid2816When I bought it the salesman said the previous owner modified it, the mods that I observe are a Borla exhaust system, headers, a Fast LSXR intake and cold air intake. Package.

Like the video. A suggestion for future videos would be to lose the air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror. It's right in the camera shot, it's distracting as it swings around and it's amazing how much it blocks the view of the bikers in front of you. Otherwise I enjoyed the video and i like your car.

Better roads in WV with much less traffic. There is a loop from Wall Back to Clay to Ivey Dale to Duck. This run is a blast of mountain and river roads. Just watch locals may catch you and pass you on blind curves even if you are flying.
