Why? Would you have dinner with Jeffrey Dahmer? Would you pay a terrorist? Would you play the same game a bully wants you to play? No. He wants attention, why give it to him? Yes have a private debate without cameras or witnesses, then no one profits from the professional interaction.

@musicaltakes one problem. This is not the work or studies of either person. They would be debating something they could not prove. Waste of time. For example Bart likes carnivore diet (me too), yet he, just like the rest of us are unable to prove long term (birth till death in a controlled environment) RCT's proving vegan, vegetarian, Mediterranean are bad. No need to debate the item. Best to just provide real world evidence. In writing, peer reviewed, controlled, long term.......

All I know is that I've been carnivore for 6 years and during that time went through menopause. I have gone from osteopenia to osteoporosis and my BMD is still declining. I believe my bone building markers are ok, but my CTX is very high. I'm keen to hear anything you have to say that might help me understand why this is happening to me and how I might be able to reverse it.

There are many reasons why this could be occurring, You might consider asking one of the many carnivore doctors; most do live Q & A sessions or private consults. Sally Norton is great for oxalate dumping info (which affected me for a while and was very unfun and rough.) Good luck.

1:37 I had an interesting experience with pH. My body pH dropped to a four, I broke out in a very bad case of thrush, and nearly died. I brought myself back to a pH of 7.2 mainly drinking green powders. It took 3 years. It has been almost 10 years since I came back, and I just had a functional medicine blood test done and the doctors are very concerned about this pH of six they saw in my tissues I think? I'd like to know what's going on. I imagine my blood stayed normal the whole time because I'm still alive. I was told by my acupuncturist not to worry about blood pH 1:37 I should add that my diet wasn't the best prior to that outbreak. I had had some trauma, and I hadn't been eating as well as I should. I also had steroid shots, and some antibiotics

The interesting factor here has to be real world effects. Where are these problems in pure carnivore dietary people? I've frequented carnivore forums, discussion and so forth, but never encounter any people having these issues. Furthermore, why are these problems not highly prevalent in people that have been using this diet their entire lives? I'm talking about the Sami people, Inuit's, certain Indian groups and so forth?

@@dr.jamesdinicolantonio2215 these studies are very limited, and lack randomized control trials -and your video to prove any of this are severely limited as well, also with no control studies. Inuits have a lot of other problems, and there are several studies pointing towards cold climates also affect this -furthermore indicated that the levels of osteoporosis or similar calcium related problems which as quite far ranging -calcium deficiency has about 20 different symptoms which are also prevalent in dozens of other health problems. The big problem for me is when you immediately face a your large wall of supplements you clearly make money off of, which makes most of your conclusions severely biased.

@@antono2293 your opinion is simply an opinion … it’s a pointless statement
@antono2293
@antono2293 8 ай бұрын
@@traderr784 No, it's not pointless at all because it's substantiated with actual facts. My opinion in this case represents the truth. 1) The term ''risk'' can be used to refer to causation and association. It's not necessarily a term that refers to causation exclusively. This is backed by basic logic and the definition of risk that respected universities provide. 2) Bart sometimes claims that smokers have a 11 500 % higher relative change in lung cancer or lung cancer deaths per pack year of smoking compared to non-smokers. This is most likely wrong. 11 500 % translates into a risk ratio of 116 which doesn't sound true at all. 3) Bart has said that all nine ''bradford hill criteria'' have to be met in order to infer causality, otherwise causality can be dismissed. This is a complete misrepresentation on his part. It's just plain wrong. 4) His understanding of risk ratios has made him look like a fool on multiple occasions. He has claimed that in order to generate a hypothesis linking saturated fat to heart disease, he'd want to see risk ratios in the range of 20-21 after accounting for confounders etc. Anyone who understands basic stats knows why this is a hilarious claim on his part. It has also been documented how Bart thought that a risk ratio of ''infinity'' disproves the point made by vegans that risk ratios are constrained by the denominator. What Bart didn't get is that ''infinity'' means ''incalculable''. He thought he debunked a sound statistical point presented by vegans but he only exposed himself and his lack of complete understanding of certain basic statistical metrics. Bart even called the vegan doctor an idiot and started laughing at him even though Bart was the guy who messed up. Quite hilarious, isn't it? It's on the interwebs... 5) If you look up the video on Bart's channel about the link between red meat and diabetes, Bart miscalculates the baseline rate and underestimates the absolute change over a whole lifetime. He said 2.5 % even though the true number was closer to 25 %. 6) Bart has claimed that observational studies can't inform on causality. That is incorrect. They absolutely can on occasion. This is well-accepted among scientists today. 7) Bart has claimed that in order to draw causal conclusions one needs to conduct experiments on genetically identical twins who are followed over a whole lifetime where everything is controlled. Where is the sanity in this statement? By that scientific standard, we'd dismiss quite a bunch of important scientific findings. I could go on for way more than this. Yet, you are conviced that Bart never makes mistakes? OK, you do you. But you're naive and gullible if you think that is the case.

The carnivore diet notion is one of the worst idea ever, and bart is one of the worst influencers of it. I can't understand why even confusing yourself with biological mechanisms and chemical reactions there never ever was a zero carb population and Hunter gathers tribes studied today eat tons of roots like the hadza. Who cares its not their preferred food...... They like to bring up the argument that people used to healthy 60 years ago, well guess what people 60 years ago ate tons of carbs like potatoes and such Why mess around with something we know works, i.e some meat some veg and fats, which people lived on for their entire existence not only since the agricultural times. Unfortunately i did the carnivore lion diet for 1 year, that turned up really bad with c diff and insanely high blood sugar numbers , probably both cause of the protein and no fiber...... Daily diarrhea/un healthy stool for entire year. Just horrible. (And i did transition slowly)
