(Not sure exactly how much pre-planning goes in, or how much Grian - the usual suspect - coordinates exactly what will happen.

So ive realized something about these base swaps, which Id imagine everyone else has already realized but... everyone who switched bases switched into someone whose base needs that service. Examples: ZombieCleo and Keralis. Keralis now needs to make his city more "alive" whereas Zombiecleo needs more things built. Mumbo needs terraforming, and scar needed a storage system for the chunk that shall not be named. Docm needed... a real house? (kidding i love the half house feel) Whereas Cub probably needed a way to equalize his ledger. Grian needed more functionality in his base, and zedaph likely wanted to spice up his base now that he has countless inventions.

Also from what I've seen so far, each pair of hermits sets their own terms and conditions of what gets swapped & what's allowed etc. Shopping district might be off-limits, though Cleo seems ready to negotiate ownership of LLAMB too

Well I mean lossing owner ship to one of the best bases on the server that you spent a lot of time grinding for hours on end will make someone cry. Like all the other bases are just mostly one mega structure but which is fairly easy. But building a city is way way more different as you need to plan more on how it would look like where the roads go and have different desgines for each and every building and doing it by your self as well. If someone took owner ship of my city that I have spent a long time building even if it is a close friend I trust I would still feel sad.

You know it almost like half the base swaps actually really help the life of the bases. Mumbo being able to add some technical practical cool to the big dig, Cleo being able to expand and add some life to the city, the fact the Toon Towers has been almost entirely abandoned for a while now.
