Oh wow I'm always surprised by how far this story has gone. I live close to the bridge and been there a few times. It's actually a really boring place though and the only creepy thing is how foggy it gets around the bridge at night lol. Granted, I'd never want to casually walk through there! Most of the story is made up. The real story is in 1970 a couple was parked near the bridge when suddenly a man showed up and yelled something about them trespassing and threw a hatchet at their car. In their report they said the man was wearing light clothing with something on his head and that somehow turned into bunny ears. But there was never an asylum or murders or rabbit carcasses hung from a tree. It's a great story though and I loved everyone's reaction! Haha

I was raised in clifton and yes I can say that we all know the story we used to sneak away at night and dare each other to run through it but then actual assaults and weird stuff started happening so police park up there because it is a dead end on one side so they monitor it as well as dont allow people there around Halloween. So cool to see you guys talk about it though!

When I moved to fairfax, va to live for my college years at George mason university, I went driving around one night on some back roads and I had never heard of this road or the area at all. When I came upon this bridge I got an overwhelming terrified feeling and felt that I was in imminent danger! I went through it but there was no thru road on the other side so I had to make multiple point turns to finally be completely turned around so that I could go back through it and get back on my way home. The entire time I felt as though something evil was watching me and that at any point someone was going to pop out and attack me. I can’t describe the level of fear I was feeling and I kept talking myself down because I knew it was completely unwarranted and I couldn’t understand why I was so terrified when I’d never even been there before! About a month or so later I found out that it has a major urban legend and sick story attached to it and I truly couldn’t believe what I was hearing! I found out that on Halloween starting at about the time when it gets dark outside, police post out at the bridge to enforce that no one go out and do those dares where they walk behind or under or above or wherever near the bridge because there have been robberies and things go down out there when ppl have tried to go and “have a little fun” teasing the spirits. It is a very dangerous place as ppl still hang out around there and I would never ever go there by myself at night especially!! They also did a movie loosely based on this urban legend a few years back as well!

Ya there's security cameras there me and my buddies use to drink under the bridge in high school in the early 2000s and cops put up cameras so people don't use it as a hang out

To be honest, I'd probably be more scared by this story, if it wasn't for the fact that Stevie was hyping it up the entire podcast, saying he was tearing up, and scared in his own home. I expected it to be a lot worse. Also I pictured the bridge to be WAY more scary just from listening to the pod, now that I see it, I reckon I'd do it for free haha. Still an interesting story though. Loved this episode.

I can confirm, I live about 20 minutes away from the bridge and I went there at about 10 pm, in the middle of autumn, after it had just rained and just drove under it, and all I felt was negative energy all the way back home. I have gone back three or four times in day light and even then I still get a negative presents there. The second time we went back there were motorcycle bikers taking pictures and we drove through made a U-turn went back through and for the next 30 minutes we were followed by a motorcycle, every turn we made they would make the same turn, needless to say it was awhile before we went back again

I live in 10 min away from bunny man bridge...(if you don't believe me, my neighborhood is called Little Rocky Run in Clifton Virginia)...anyways, I remember it was either 2018 or early 2019 when on the news there was a report that a man was found skinned alive with a bloody ax next to him under Bunny Man Bridge, which was disturbing because the Bunny Man was first reported in 1970.

My mom from Virginia brought up the bunnyman when I showed her buzzfeed unsolveds goatman video. But according to her it was just like the boogieman, there was no story, just a bridge that kids called the bunnymans bridge. She doesn't even know where Cliffton is or whatever it's called, the locations name changed. Oddly Wikipedia says it's based on two incidents of a dude dressed as a bunny threatening people with an axe near where she grew up in the 70s so there's that I guess.
