Salt gets rid of Slugs - pour a line of Salt around the House, the little buggers will not cross it. Spain in the Summer takes some getting used too, take your Siesta/Afternoon Nap, dinner at 9pm, and the streets are alive till 1 or 2 AM.

Mum used to pour salt on slugs to kill them. I’ve also heard they don’t like to travel over sharp gravel, shards of glass and things of that nature. Not sure if that’s true or not? A line of salt is great until it rains and that’s when the slugs come out I force. 😊

Slugs love beer and if you put beer in a jar half but9y in the garden they will climb in to get the beer and DROWN ...great way to get rid of them ....your slug story 😂😂😂

Lol - Thanks for giving us all a much needed giggle, with your stories of Tim’s DIY misadventures ⚡️& Mr Bond’s close encounter with your garden Gastropods 🐌🍺😱. I have a lot of Hosta plants in my garden, mainly in pots & 2 of them planted in the soil - they are in absolute tatters thanks to slugs & snails! I had a couple of resident frogs 🐸, for the past seven or eight years, but sadly no sight of them this year, think they may have perished in the winter.🥹 So the gastropods have flourished & yes you can definitely hear the blighters munching at night, but very hard to spot them! So I set up a ‘Slug Pub’, good strong real ale in a couple of empty marg tubs, they love beer, crawl in - get sozzled 🤪, pass out & drown in their beery nervana! Honestly over the course of a couple of nights I must have trapped between 50/60 of the plant assassins - but they died happy!😉😂

I remember as a child in Hanover Brighton the launderette in Montreal Road. If you put one hand on the coin slot on the machine nearest the door and the other hand on the metal door latch you got a mild tingling....it was like that for years 😊

In one of our street theatre performances, one of our guys used to call someone in the audience, a slug, then say "slow lazy uncoordinated grub." My kids used to like putting some beer on a plate and watching the slugs and snails go to it. 😁

My mother had an electric fire with two bar elements. Every time I put my hand in to clean the dust out, if I touched the element, I got an electric shock. Well, my husband is a qualified electrical and electronic marine engineer. So I kept telling him about it and he said it was my imagination, so this went on and on, so he thought, just to shut me up, he would touch the element, well he got a shock. He checked out the plug, it was OK, so he took the socket off the wall and found that the wires, were the on the wrong way around, so he fixed the wiring and it got rid of the shocks. I couldn’t help myself, I just smirked at him. So my thoughts would be that if someone in the know, changed the socket on the wall, they would have wired it the correct way, they may not realise it was wrong in the first place, hence the shocks ceased. Thank You for the great videos, you both make me laugh so much, when I’m watching them. You know what they say laughter is good for the soul. 🦋🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Slugs love beer. If you don't like slugs give them beer, they get drunk and fall in to drown. I'm lucky to have possums who visit every night to finish up cat food. They also love to eat slugs and snails. I love possums more than slugs. Funny video thank you 💖💖💐💐🤣🤣

Your foam story reminded me of my dad. One Christmas we had a house full of guests and my dad was telling his brother in law ( over several drinks) about the fire extinguisher he found. Well he just HAD to fetch it didn't he... And you know what happened. Yep. It went off!!! Guests coughing, spluttering, gasping and shrieking ran out into the street ..... One of the neighbours said she thought there had been a fight!!!😂😂😂😂

OMG two days ago my daughter came in from the garden, she's 50 by the way, and she threw up. She suddenly notice a whole army of slugs making their way over the grass. She showed me a picture, it was horrendous, never seen it before.

Slugs: 1. Your friend was lucky. Sam Ballard, an Australian, ate a slug on a dare ,became paralyzed and died after a horrific illness. They are extremely toxic 2. my mother used to set out shallow pans of beer in the garden to catch slugs 3. This all reminds me of Karl Pilkington and his 'sluggish 'stories.😄

Static electricity is wicked, I carry it like mad lol. I can walk across concrete parking lot, touch the key pad door lock and get shocked lol. Year round but the winter, well it’s Zeus bolts from my finger tips lol. My husband gotten a few kiss shocks, he just about dropped hot coffee. Because he got close to my fingers, I’m like hot wire fence lol. I shock my horse too when brushing, depending on what the weather is lol. I was really mad at my husband, I went and touched the tv screen, it turned off. 😆🇺🇸

There was a point I missed out with sharing, in regard to the ghastly rioting happening right now as we so speak. Burning up modes of transport and properties and only getting a roughly 2 1/2 year or so prison sentence for this in my opinion is truly not long enough, people who commit such vandalizing arson like crimes like that should really in my opinion be sentenced to 5 or 10 years jailed up for doing things like this, its nearly goes to show that the criminal justice system seriously doesn't work when people who commit serious crimes don't get jailed for very long but yet for the least violent offences the people found guilty for those get banged up for longer having more years stamped on their sentence, its like what has gone wrong with our nations justice? But sadly one wouldn't have full blown answers to it. But those offences I seriously do not agree with, I don't agree to any violent, vandalizing or arson offences whatsoever to tell you both of things regarding horrific offences recently committed in the midst of the current rioting troubles happening right now as we speak 😕. You can die from ingesting slugs because of the lungworm. That is why dogs and cats are vaccinated against lungworm. I think if you cook them first it may be OK but I am not going to test it! I have hundreds of slugs in the garden, the bird table is covered with them at night, looks like a horror show.
